excellent Course!

I am a scratch golfer and recently played this course a few weeks ago. This is one of the best layouts in the area with a great design. The fairways were very pure and fair to hit off. The greens were tough yet were running smoothly.

The bunkers need some work to them. With the new ownership, I can see that they have already addressed some of the bunkers and began repairs on them.

The course use to be in a lot worse shape. The new owners have done an extremely great job with getting this course in better shape!

Once the bunkers recover, this will easier be a top 5 course here in the area.

I look forward to playing here multiple times per month and seeing the conditions of the course keep getting better and better!

I highly encourage you to visit!

Gone downhill

I have played this course in the past and have never seen conditions like this. Bare patches on greens and fairways. Paid $16 and was feeling like I barely got my money's worth

Needs a lot of help

Course in horrendous condition. Greens ok but rest of course unkept and sloppy. Not worth the $. Hopefully new owners will put some tlc into it because it has potential.

Bait and Switch!

When I arrived I was told my tee time was moved up (the website stated that it was possible). However, by moving it up, it was pushed into a more expensive time so I had to pay more than expected even though I still teed off at my original time! I don't appreciate this tactic so, even though I really enjoy this course, I will be playing it less frequently if at all. There are many more courses in the area that know how to treat CUSTOMERS... Also, under new ownership, I noticed some differences in course conditions. Most of the sand traps had less than normal sand in them for example.

Making Stoneybrook great again

This is one of Arthur Hill best work. Absolutely brilliant layout. The golf course was sold to new owners in February and since then there has been more work done here than in the last five years. The course had been neglected and was in terrible shape. It is getting so much better every day. The greens are fast and true. If you have never played here, you need to check it out. If you played here in the past, come and check out the changes.

Do NOT recommend - why? When we played today the course was over booked and they harrassed us about pace of play- ranger came out 3 times and on one occiason made us skip a hole -based on their GPS system - was off sync - - we followed normal golf standards during our play and we finished 18 in about 4 hours - so our pace of play was fine - also, the man in the pro shop was rude -- will NEVER play this course again and will Not reccomend this course ---
