This course was very good
This course was very good however lt was little hard to find out nexr holes as first time player, may need more detailed instruction or signs
Wonderful
It was good course and kind staff but lack of power cart.
We have to wait until we can get a power cart over 15 minute of tee time.
But it was perfer play.
Slow play
We were behind a foursome playinga two person scramble and waited on every shot. I appeared they took several ? Mulligans tee off at 220 and played 17 in the dark and skipped 18.
I have to say the course is in better shape this week then it was a couple weeks ago. The greens are very nice.
Love the golf footprint
Course was in great shape . Enjoyed the challenging greens
Great course, better price and would certainly play again
I played the Cypress course on a Friday afternoon. The course itself was in fantastic condition with lush fairways, manicured greens and excellent tee boxes. We paid $36 each for a tee time at 1:30. Totally worth the price. We finished our round in just over 4 hours and that included waiting on 10 of the holes for the groups ahead of us to clear. I have played four different courses I. The Kissimmee/Orlando area this year and by far this was my favourite.
The only negatives I have for the course were that when we showed up, there was 6 groups waiting for carts, which led us to arrive 10 minutes late for our tee time. The starter told us that it happens everyday and they don’t have enough carts to accommodate the two courses. Also, there are no Marshall’s on the course to promote quicker play. Some groups were waiting for the group ahead of them to clear the greens on a par 5 before teeing off. Negatives aside, great course and I would highly recommend playing here.
Course needs to let you know there is no drinking water on course - vending machine broken too - need to improve communication
Great Course, Great Service
Stayed in Kissimmee with the family and wanted to get a few rounds in but didn’t want to pay $200 for a middle of the run course anywhere near Disney.
Stone Gate (Cypress) was in phenomenal shape - fairways and tee boxes all well groomed and no dry spots. Greens rolled really well and were in great shape. Course had some nice character to it and a lot of holes with doglegs or trees on both sides.
if you’re looking to play a really nice course at a very fair price, highly recommend.
Special shout out to Claude the director of golf who went over and above customer service wise, the reason we came back and will return next vacation.
PLAYED MUCH NICER FOR THE PRICE
CYPRESS COURSE LOTS OF WATER
Course is average fairways good for winter play, couple greens had issues but most were OK. Bought range balls, hit a couple then they closed the range to cut the grass. One old guy who didn't listen got bitched out. Greens keeper must of been having a bad day.
First time playing and there is a lot of long distance travel between some holes , that was not explained. , A FEW PEOPLE WERE HAVING PROBLEMS . We hooked up with someone who had played it before so wasn't an issue.
Good local course
Excellent value for money. Easy layout if not played here before. Greens give a good bit of difficulty. Worth a visit with friends.
A Nice Day at Stonegate
Fair for the green fees but not a penny more. Too many other courses in better shape in the area. Staff was great.
Carts
Great course once you get on. Had to wait 20 plus minutes for carts. Staff were great and patient just not enough carts if playing later in the day. No drinking water on 80 plus day. Water fountain not working so only way to get water was to pay for it.
STONEGATE GOLF CLUB - Nice
Cold morning tee off but the weather cooperated and pace of play was very good. Greens were slow, but putted very true and were in great condition. Course was pretty well maintained although some areas of fairway were a little rough. Many interesting holes and you had to really make sure you did not push or pull your ball as you found water or other trouble. Very nice community there and nice locker room and little golf “town”. A good value for the money.
