Poor maintanence has led to very poor playing experiences. Weeds and drought looking conditions make it look like this is a very low priority from management/owner. If you can’t afford to maintain a course then don’t own one. Clean up after Irma was great but now it’s back to a neglected course. Food quality has dropped dramatically since management left after Irma. Bar food and missing dinner hours have unfortunately contributed to this low thriving Club business. Golf fees are really good and the carts are brand new.

VALUE 5 STARS!! This golf course has some of the best hole designs of any in Highlands County. The course plays fair and very playable for all levels of golfers. Also it offers 5 different tee box's. Pace of play is normal 3 1/2 hour rounds. New golf carts, nice driving range and a stocked Pro shop . Comfortable 19th hole were we found great prices for cold beverages and snacks after our round. This course has been around for many years, traditional in looks not a fancy high priced place. What I also like about this course all ages of golfers are welcome. This course is a must play.

This is a fun, challenging course. I’ve enjoyed playing it for years. The only thing green now are the weeds. Putting surface is like linoleum with patches of carpet. I know it’s winter. I’ve always played here in winter and it used to be much better. This used to be my go to course. I’ll not be back soon. Hope new owners will fix it up.

Good shape a little bit tricky". A starter but no ranger.
No problem if you follow the cartpath to find the next hole.
On tee 4 an aligator was crossing the fairway. On tee 6 there where aligators in the water!!!

The course has a very good layout and they have new gas carts, which was nice. Greens were excellent with undulation that makes for challenging putts. Fairway grass is poor and the tee boxes needed mowing. Otherwise, it is worth the trip. I play this course several times when I am in South Florida and that is an hour drive for me. Well worth it.

For the fee charged, it is a value. Though not in the "finest" condition, it warrants play because it is truly a value. You still have to play every shot and every putt. If you don't mind bumping your ball once or twice, or if you're one of those players who bumps your ball every time, then you will have no problem here.
I will certainly play this course again!

Played this course several times over the past 12 years. In the past few years have found the course to be in poor condition, however this year improvements have been made. The greens are good, roll true with good speed and only a few blemishes.
The fairways are ok, lots of sand in the traps and they have all new golf cars.

A good layout, greens roll fast and true. Fairways are fair, but you're not paying top $$. It is a true value for the money. I WILL play here again, no doubt. If you value your golfing budget, and you're not playing with an unlimited budget, you'll find the place a reasonable choice!

The people at the course were very helpful and pleasant. Layout was very good. Greens were in reasonable shape, The overall course needs a little loving care. Part of the problem could be from the hurricane several months ago. The staff tries hard.

This is our second time playing here. Loved it the first time and even more the second. Lots of wildlife (saw a huge alligator sunning himself), along with other Florida wildlife. Will definitely play here again. Worth the money and the trip here.
