Placid Lakes Country Club

I really enjoyed our game, didn't lose too many balls!
Lots of wildlife to see, lazing alligators, sandhill cranes, lots of other birds including owls.

Nice owner, friendly staff. Good layout. All it lacks is fertilizer, water and weed killer but try it. I still enjoyed it.

Great layout! Course could use some green maintenance.

The front 9 lacks grass and what is green are weeds. What a cow pasture. Some of the greens need work as well. Carts are old with ripped seats. What's the definition of a Country Club because this certainly isn't one. Probably saw at least 15 alligators, which kind of freaked us out. We live in Florida so gators are not a big thing but that's to many to be hanging around. Not much of a course overall for the money

Good course, Great people, plenty of wildlife and a fun time. Will return.

Dry and burnt out, greens are puttable , although fast, course always windy, but GREAT value for the money

Greens were not bad fairways were better than last year so hopefully it will all come together.They are trying so we will see what happens.

Course is fun to play. Some challenging and interesting holes. Greens were running fast. Some fairways rough but all in all a good bang for your dollar,

Paired up with couple from Canada. Enjoyed company, for play was somewhat slow. Great layout course coming out of a harsh winter, for brummda grass. Brummda does not like 30&40 degree wheater. Love the greens, lots of character. Would differently play again. The price was write.

...it could use some work on drainage on a few holes. The greens were not in the best of shape, mainly, because of the weather. However, the ball rolled true. Do like the fact that none of the greens are flat...makes your putts very challenging.

The greens were fantastic, best greens around. Extremely fast but true. I like more green fairways but it is winter. The staff in pro shop and bar were awful friendly. The starter was as nice a person you would ever want to meet. My wife and I said if all the starters were like her there would be no first tee jitters. Great person for the job. Good layout. Unfortunately some holes had some standing water. Plenty of wildlife to view.

We paid $25 for the round and should have paid $15. Doesn't look like they have put any money into the course for years. Hole signs were not even legible and the lack of up keep was apparent at every inch of the course. The greens were damaged and only puttable on half of the greens. Too many other courses in the area for same green fees that I would play before this one!
The only positive was that they had excellent food in the club house. Dinner yes but golf NO!

We were able to tee off promptly and the pace of play was good. The greens were quite firm given the high temperature and wind. Fairways were in good condition. Will play here again. Fellow golfers were friendly.

This course was in rough shape. The fairways were not in good shape at all and the greens even worse. It was a fairly easy course to play, but it was not nice to look at. Greens were ina stae of disrepair, and there were four fairways that were flooded.

Length of course very good for the price... course in good shape. Greens well ok with a few holes with alittle too much weeds

Decent fun challenging course love the layout. But the fairways have patches of weeds on every hole they are in need of better up keep. Greens are average. Pace of play about 3 1/2 hrs when we went. With all that said would play there again because the layout of holes and challenges make it worth it
