Park Ridge Golf Course
About
Park Ridge Golf Course transformed what was formerly the site of the Lantana Landfill into a popular municipal course. Construction began on this unique undertaking in 2004 and the end result was certified by Audubon International as a Cooperative Sanctuary. The course climbs up to 85 feet, making it one of the highest golf courses in the county. It has a links-style layout that rolls across a variety of elevation changes, offering plenty of stunning views along the way. Such a contoured and hilly course is a rare occurrence in Florida. The golf course provides a challenge with some very tricky par 3s, several blind shots due to the rolling terrain, and strategically placed traps throughout but there are no water hazards except for one lateral hazard. There is also thick rough framing many of the holes.

Can’t go wrong with this course
I play here often and never once have I wished I played elsewhere. Wide open fairways where you feel comfortable getting after it a little more Jan usual. Great staff and cart service. Course is always in great condition with fantastic greens.
Extremely slow to make a round
We had two extremely slow lines ahead. It took us 2 hours and 45 minutes to play 9 holes, so we had to give up because we didn't get to complete it and we were tired of waiting an average of 10 minutes per hole. Too bad because the field is excellent and the staff too, but they should go around the field and make the players speed up.
5 star
This course was excellent.
I played the course just before closing for renovations. The course was in great shape I can't wait to come back when it reopens, It will be even better I will make it my home course I highly recommend you try it out. Also it is a great deal for your $.
Bad greens
Worst greens ever. They used herbicide to kill the grass because they are closing the course to redo them and still charged full price.
Needs improvement
In my opinion the golf course is showing it’s winter wear! The T boxes are in poor condition right now. Very uneven, bear spots lots of unrepaired divots . The fairways have some bare spots and quite a few weeds. The greens are also showing wear and Are on the slow side. Hopefully with some tender loving care the course will improve. Aeration season is upon us that should help. In its present condition I think the prices are a little high..
Great course
Great course but it’s a real shame that they are closing the course due to redoing the greens
I played yesterday and was in great shape
The most unique Florida course
This course was built on top of a land fill, and I'm quite amazed at how well the space was used, especially how the golf designer took advantage of the elevation changes. As you immerse yourself in the course, you get a feel that you're not in Florida, it feels like you're playing a mountain course. Every hole is quite unique, lots of uphill and downhill shots, so make sure to bring your GPS finder. There are a few blind shots as well. I played on a very windy day, and it was a tough challenge, given that the wind really picked up due to the hills. The greens are in great shape, the fairways and tee boxes were in decent shape. The course was quite green, which is nice. I hear they're going to make renovations which will make the course even nicer. The price was right, at $21 walking rate for patrons. I can't wait to come back and play over and over again. Solid 4 stars, and with more TLC, it could be a 5 star course.
Tremendous park ridge
First time playing park ridge, bad weather cleared out the course and we finished in 3 hours. Course layout is incredible for south Florida. One of the only courses I’ve played with significant elevation changes. Reminds you more of a links course with double fairways on a couple holes and some blind tee shot and approaches to the green. Conditions were great for the time of year and considering the rain the greens were quick. Can’t wait to come back to play
And we've never wished that you played elsewhere either! Thank you for the continued support, Chris!
