Park Ridge Golf Course
About
Park Ridge Golf Course transformed what was formerly the site of the Lantana Landfill into a popular municipal course. Construction began on this unique undertaking in 2004 and the end result was certified by Audubon International as a Cooperative Sanctuary. The course climbs up to 85 feet, making it one of the highest golf courses in the county. It has a links-style layout that rolls across a variety of elevation changes, offering plenty of stunning views along the way. Such a contoured and hilly course is a rare occurrence in Florida. The golf course provides a challenge with some very tricky par 3s, several blind shots due to the rolling terrain, and strategically placed traps throughout but there are no water hazards except for one lateral hazard. There is also thick rough framing many of the holes.

Decent track for the price
Decent golf course for the price. Built on a landfill, course conditions B+. Nice driving range, chip in the area and putting green. Some blind holes…cart gps would be a bonus. Fortunately we played with a 2 some who has been there before.Pace of way was a bit slow. It was crowded…I will come back and give it another shot.
Great track
Hadn’t been in a about 6 months. Greens were great they have cut more of the weeds back which is better. Problem we played on a super windy day and of course this land fill makeover is high in most places. It’s sad that this county run course has to mask up Annoying and unnecessary. Staff are always great. Little pricey but so is everyone lately
Happy Gilmore!!
This course was a blast to play. It was my first time playing it but was lucky enough to be paired with a local that has played it many times. It was like having my very own caddy! It has a total of 6 par 5’s on this course. That was great for me as most were reachable in two for some great scoring. Tee boxes were very nice on back tees, forward and white tee boxes look like they were a little worn. Greens rolled true for most of the 18. Fairways were also in pretty good shape with only a few areas that might have been considered ground under repair. Not a lot of trouble on the course, a few sand traps, couple areas were water may come into play, but for the most part a very fair and fun track!
Decent course
This course is one unique feature you will not find in Florida, elevation changes. The course plays much longer than advertised, and has several holes in which you must drive over a chasm in order to reach the fairway. The course is surprisingly challenging. Although it is a public course, it presents a decent challenge and is reasonably well-maintained. It is worth playing at least once.
great course
would play it again and again if they would have membership would make it easier thanks to golf now had a great deal
Favourite course
Always one of my favourites. Very different from most local Florida courses. Lots of changes in level make each hole different and keep you guessing.
