The Club at Eaglebrooke
About
Eaglebrooke, located in Lakeland -- halfway between Orlando and Tampa, is considered one of the premier golf courses in Florida. Its classic links-style design with over 100 feet of elevation change is unique in this part of the state. Natural lakes, abundant with wildlife, can come into play on eleven of the holes creating both spectacular scenery and challenging golf shots. To increase the challenge, there are six sets of tees on each hole. The "seniors" tees were customed designed for the course by architect Ron Garl. Garl requested Senior Golf Magazine to survey seniors for optimal playing preferences and then included these requests in the course design. The atmosphere is first class and the course features bag pick-up at your car. Eaglebrooke was the first course in the US to use Greg Norman's GN 1 grass, the fastest growing and greenest grass available.

This is an excellent touch of traditional Florida Golf.
Had to return with a rain check to finish the round and was pleasantly impressed. Holes 13-18 were legitimately worth the wait.
The staff was friendly & very helpful. Compliments to Fitz. Members and Sarah (our bartender) added to our experience.
Great course
We loved the course. This was our first time playing here. Course was in great shape. We will definitely be back. The price on TeeOff was great! Waiting for more tee times to come up.
A Favorite!
I caddie for Happy Gilmore (Bloomington, Indiana) and this is our second time playing this course. We were on a fun spring break golf trip ahead of his senior season in Tampa. There are a lot of courses to choose from, but we choose to return to EB as one of our stops. From the staff, practice area and the course it is top notch! Definitely on the play list every golf trip to the area! The course is in great shape as always! Never disappoints.
Good layout and challenging greens
Very fun shot shaping at every hole. Quick and good condition greens. Well pace and finished a little over 4 hrs. Very enjoyable round with friends.
We eat lunch before we played golf. Food was good.
Great layout and greens
Course was wet but played nicely.
Cart paths only and paths are a long way from the center of the fairways so got my step count in this time.
Evaal
Not in as good condition as last year
Played it 3 times last year
Could be nice
No grass on the range. The greens were slow. Tee boxes uneven with weeds. Fairways were decent. Layout is great, especially the last 2 holes.
Overrated
For the price, you’d think the course would be in better shape, have drinking water, ball washers, and gps on the cart. It lives off its past reputation and not worth more than $50. The only positive being a long challenging course with fast greens and a beverage cart. Go elsewhere
Good Day at Eaglebrook
We enjoyed our day's golf at Eaglebrook. Lovely course and great value for what we paid. I would most definitely play there again and I highly recommend it.
Awesome
Worth the long drive. The course is in excellent condition.
Always in pretty good shape!
Don't play if you are a right handed slicer!! Just kidding, but if you are you will have to keep left as all water is on the right. Great challenge with a few forced carries and course management is a must!
Nice course
Very difficult layout. This is definitely not a beginners course as there is lots of water and lots of target golf. You need to play this course a couple of times to know where to hit your ball and read the greens. A good challenge at a reasonable price.
