The Groves Golf and Country Club

This course is always fun to play and in great shape for the price. We return often because of the proximity to our home and never leave upset (other than when we play poorly)!

The course is one of my favorites. Always in excellent condition, pace of play is always good, and friendly staff. When you’re done go inside for a drink and a bite to eat. The food is very good.

After this being the second time playing I was still in awe of this course. I was smiling from the first tee to the 18th & all the way driving home. Have already booked another tee time since I’m still numb from playing a course like this. The Groves should be proud of all they do since it shows in every aspect of the golf course. Thank you for the opportunity to play there.

Plenty of challenges.
Watch out for the alligators. Lots of wildlife to see.
Sandhill cranes, other birds, turtles alligators large and small.

The course itself was somewhat challenging but in really nice shape throughout. I actually shot my lowest ever score! The only thing that made me a bit nervous was seeing all the gators, several of them out so be CAREFUL folks!!! maybe that why I shot my lowest? LOL

I love everything about this course. Always a fun time.

It was enjoyable playing on beautiful fairways and greens. Great care is taken at this course.

Have played this course several times in the past month. The greens were perfect on the 20th. Also the bunkers had a lot of soft sand. Having played many other courses locally, this is a pleasant surprise as at most courses the lack of sand makes bunker play a real challenge. While the course is short from the back tees, the way the holes are laid out gives you plenty of opportunity to get in trouble

Took my younger siblings to play 18 holes for the first time and the experience waa great. While we were off to a rocky start, the staff helped us with everything necessary. We had a blast throughout, the members were friendly and we saw a couple gators. The ranger, Butch, checked in on us time to time which I thought was thoughtful. I was in the mindset of trying out various courses near us but I think we found our home first go round. Thanks guys for the amazing service

Love playing this course. The fairways are easy to get under the ball on and the greens are in great shape!

Smaller 18 hole course that makes up for size with hooks, nook, and cranny’s sound every corner. Challenging enough for the amateur but still potential for the average Joe to put in a few good shots.

They were extremely rude. The course was in disrepair. They had 18 closed. Said we could replay hole 9. When we arrived at hole 9 they had an employee posted telling us we couldn’t play it again. Basically told us go away. The course has declined since our last round. We will not play there again.

Excellent course, play it at least once a week. This is a course that is always improving the experience for the golfers. From new golf carts to consistent capital improvements, this is a course that is very well maintained. Absolutely love it!

Was hesitant to play here because it is a short course 4,000 yards.. However it was laid out very nicely, greens in great shape. Overall course conditions, excellent. All the small details shows this course is maintained well.. Even though it is a short course,, it should greatly improve your game as there are many tricky holes, (after you have played it several times) Will be back to play again, took us 2 1/2 hours to play 18 holes.
