Plantation Palms Golf Club
About
Plantation Palms Golf Club, designed by David Harman, provides every Tampa golfer with a challenging and rewarding golf experience. The links-style design starts with a welcoming par 5, and then slowly steps up with a mixture of strong par 3s. Just 10 minutes north of Tampa, this course was carved a 400-acre citrus grove that slopes from west to east, providing interesting elevation changes. Water is in play on 17 of 18 holes. Plantation Palms Golf Club has an attractive framing of greens by the use of pine trees, water and large snow-white sand traps. The true-rolling elevated greens have good movement and are a challenge for golfers.

Fastest greens!
Overall nice experience. Greens were the fastest that we played. I think it’s a nice $45 dollar course but we payed $65. Silly tourists.
Tee boxes were rough. Fairways were green but we’re thin.
Course is decently maintained. They are trying. Beautiful clubhouse.
I would definitely give it a try if the price was right.
Hidden gem
We played the oaks course at Stonegate. What a great day. The staff was awesome. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and professional.
The course was exceptional. The greens were bright green and fast. The rest of the course was beautifully maintained. Lots of wildlife.
Do not hesitate to play. We also ate in the restaurant the day we played and we went back the next night because it was so nice. Great food and drinks at very reasonable prices.
I would also like to say that mr. Wheeler in the pro shop was exceptional. He took great care of us and we will definitely be back.
Great Course
First time playing and enjoyed very much, great course layout and enjoyable holes. Greens are in great condition. Only bad point was the pace of play. Very slow on the back nine 4h40mins.
PlannyPalms
Nice course, challenging with the pin placements and the wind.
Pace was slow, we were behind 10 golfers for most the day.
Mulligans Pub was great, chicken wings on point.
Great!
Excellent layout, great shape. Greens were quick and true. Nice practice facility and friendly staff
A Real Gem
We were supposed to pay $55 but my friend found a coupon and we paid $45 instead. At $55 this is tremendous value let alone $45. Very good shape. It had some areas that could use some love but it's Florida & we weren't expecting Augusta, The greens were outstanding. We weren't expecting the greens to be this good but they were way above expectations. Rolled true. Fairways were great & the sand was certainly above average. The guy behind the counter was a real character & we got a big kick out of his dry humor. If you're taking a golf trip put this close to the top of your list.
Great course and staff
Played on St. Patty’s Day with 2 friends and we throughly enjoyed ourselves. Course was in great shape. The greens were very fast . After the round we hung out and enjoyed the St. Patrick celebration.
Great course in good shape - and playable
Course was in god shape and the staff all friendly and helpful. Course allowed for a few Mishima and was very playable with some challenging greens on a few holes. Really enjoyed it, and for the money, best course I’ve seen in Florida so far.
Course was busy, In good shape
Nice speedy greens, pace was ok, course fairly maintained.
Great place.
Excellent customer service from ranger, wait staff, pro shop and all involved.
They made our visit extremely enjoyable.
Course was a fair challenge.
Can't wait to return.
Great Customer Service
New GM and management have really turned this course around. It has a great value for the price and the course is in very good shape. There are some challenges, but not due to poor condition.
On top of that the GM (Jesse) took very good care of my friends and Myself. Jesse during non work hours processed my application and was able to honor our new membership and got us booked on the sister course (which is also a great value).
For other courses in Flordia that can cost $100+ Both of these courses can stand alone on value. $49 a month all you can golf after 1/2pm and just pay for cart pays for itself after just one round a month. On top of that for them to not nickel and dime us during a time where everyone is going cheap and charging more was very refreshing. Also, the food and prices for food at mulligans is top notch. 100% must play
