About
Formerly known as Grand Lacuna Golf Club, this par-71 championship course now goes by the name Atlantic National Golf Club. Designed in the late 1980s by Joe Lee, the course was designated one of the 50 best public courses in Florida. The challenging layout has plenty of variety that will require all different types of shots. Golfers will find that they need to use every club in their bag. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the strategically placed bunkers that lurk along the greensides and fairways are particularly tricky. There are some tough holes but it is an accommodating layout for all skill levels, especially since it has four diverse sets of tees. In addition to the golf course, Atlantic National offers a grass driving range, two putting greens, and a chipping area with a practice bunker.

Greens were Aerorated
I love this course. Great layout. Greens were aerorated the week before. But Highly recommended playing here

Policy first and customer last.
I have never write negative reviews to any businesses but I am writing on this one because I felt that this is so wrong and I am so disappointed of how this golf course is Stand by their policy so much rather than their customer. I have to cancel my Tee time because my family member is in the hospital the night before and still in hospital ,so I call them an hour before Tee time that I cannot make it. The director of golf told me that nothing he can’t do about it and he have to charge the full amount because I will not be at the golf course and he cannot fill in that spot. He told me that is unfortunate event and he still have to charge my card for full about for $248 because I will not show up. It is the POLICY AND NO EXCEPTION.. This amount of money would be the last time that they will get from me and my family and friends. Please golfer beware and please choose another golf course before this one. I am not only one that this happened too. Please read review online.

Greens rolled very well; very good value for price of round
I found this course to provide an enjoyable round. The greens were in excellent condition; rolled fast & true. The fairways were mostly generous but the layout provided some challenges for this 9 handicap.
The course had been freshly mowed from growth due to considerable rain but ground crew were busy collecting clippings & maintain course. Rough was not excessively long but fair & playable.
I joined 3 local gentlemen & had a most enjoyable time playing with them. I would play this course again.

Excellent course
This is one of the best courses in West Palm Beach. Very challenging course and fairways and greens are in excellent condition. I will play here many times. Even though I live one hour away. It's worth the trip.

Enjoyable interesting course
The course was in good shape as usual. The greens were somewhat rough since they had been aerated 3 weeks ago but not fully healed up yet.

Nice course layout
Had a great time! I was matched up with 3 others. I enjoyed my time in the afternoon. A few greens needed work but still a challenging course.

Fun course
This course was redesigned a few years ago and it's always in good condition. Unfortunate in the winter the rates are doubled for the northern visitors. I play it whenever i get the chance. It's fun and challenging too!
Lovely course
Good challenging course. Tee boxes need a little help. The greens had just been worked on but all told a very nice course to play.
