Well worth it!!!
The course used to be called Copperhead. Other than the construction going on around the course everything was great. The course has a great layout and was in great condition. The pro shop staff was very accomadating. The price was the cheapest round we paid for while in florida and was my second favourite course.
Tidy and open course
Course is in great condition. Lots of variety of holes. I didn’t find the staff friendly or welcoming, but they were effective and efficient about start times and pace of play.
Challenging but Fair
The course has a good layout with sloping but generally fair greens that were in really good condition. Fairways were very tight and just in ok shape. Plays longer than yardage indicates due to some realy short Par fours offset by some really long Par fours.
.Overall I liked the course and would definitely play it again. It was fun.
Good value
Newer course. So only complaint is fairways and greens are very thin on grass. But layout is awesome. Greens have hills and valleys. We played in 3 hours but teed off at 7am. 5 years from now this will be a $180+ course.
Will only get better! Afternoon play can be slow
Nice course Great shape and will be nice once the build out the Clubhouse. Could use a ranger in afternoon to speed up some foursomes.
Ibis Landing 2.11.24
Lennar bought an existing course and is turning it into a new housing development. Lots of housing construction around the course. Temporary cart paths in a few areas. Greens are very firm and do not hold a shot. Undulating greens make putting difficult.
Ok, but not worth the money
Considering the location - not exactly the best part of the Ft. Myers area - and the amenities and pace of play, not a good value for the amount they charge. Course condition was okay, but not great. Range balls were included, but still not a good value.
Rangers and pop
Need ACTIVE rangers on early holes to ensure initial pace of play. Our tee time was 25 minutes behind scheduled start. No excuse. Finished at dark. Pins were dastardly on a few holes.
Beautiful course!
Beautiful course, great condition and good layout. A little pricey but in season in Florida. I’m playing golf on a 77° day on February 9th. Can’t do that at home. Going to be better when all construction is finished.
Country Club Feel
When I pulled into Ibis Landing and got set up to play, I felt like I was at a private golf club. Unfortunately, inconsiderate and slow foursomes ahead of us pop up at any golf course. The Ranger exercised quick thinking at the turn by sending us back out at the first hole. We probably got in two more holes than had we continued behind the group ahead of us.
4 1/2 star rating
It’s a 4 1/2 star because it deserves it and I am a very hard marker aerating course. This course is very very good. I radiate it before I just rating course again because I wanted to give a shout out to Parker and Dylan to young fellows that checked us in they were excellent but as I said, the course itself is very very good with many tees for all types of offers.
