Forest Oaks Golf Club
Forest Oaks Golf Club in Lake Worth is a public course that is still one of south Florida's best-kept secrets despite having good conditions and affordable rates. The golf course offers an enjoyable round that is challenging but playable. Opened in the 1970s, it has a classic layout that showcases what Florida golf courses are known for. It is a tight layout that requires a fair amount of accuracy but beginners won't feel too out of their league. The layout offers an excellent transition from an executive course. It measures less than 6,000 yards, offering a quick and enjoyable round for more advanced players. Forest Oaks G.C. offers the quality and conditions of a country club course but the friendly and casual atmosphere of a public facility.

claustrophobic and hazardous
Putting a golf course in and around a condo hoa is common but there really needs to be some breathing room in the layout.
This course offers a very narrow corridor of play with considerable risk of hitting cars or windows on almost every hole with one right along a major heavy traffic road with no ball barrier.
The clubhouse is quaint, low intensity lighting, 1 TV, and a minor food and drink bar and patio.
No driving range, and a 10 yard putting green.
Golf carts are propane and fast enough for most.
Greens and fairways were ok, not as horrible as with the WPB public course, but felt and looked needy.
Played last winter. Just played today and the fairways were much better and the greens were good.
This is tThe third time this season. They continue to work on improving itIt has gotten better each time we played.
Beautiful course and layout. It's a shame they don't keep it in better condition. Tough course narrow fairways, small greens. Fairways and rough need to be better manicured.. Greens ran really good
Fairways are Dry, hitting on Tarpin, Greens were in Great shape, but were not cut...So VERY FURRY...so you could not get a read...
back after about 4 years, greens were much improved from last time, fairways are still spotty and sandy
Perfect welcome. The course and cart need a refresh
Perfect welcome ! But it's another golf course who try to survive in this cruel world of large offer of tee time... where the quantity of golfers is going down. I hope you will be able to keep something interesting to drive 30 miles for a golf game. But it's not the facts today.
I hope you'll take this like a constructive comment.
Course isn’t in bad shape a couple of the greens had patches on them..but as a course it was challenging most of the parr 3,s were long. Guys I played with were very friendly. P rice was very reasonable on golfnow.com
Decent course with some narrow fairways. Good value for the money
A challenging course that my friends and I have always enjoyed. Vinny and the crew are always a pleasure to see. The course is always improving . We can’t wait to go back again!
Nice Compact Course
The course is shorter than most, which works for my limited skills. The course condition is not great, but okay. The greens are in pretty good shape, fairways a bit less so. Staff is friendly and helpful. The clubhouse is old and pretty worn, could use help.
Forest Oaks Review
Greens where in great shape!
Signage out on course excellent.
One major problem fairways need to be re-seeded numerous thin spots.
