Eglin AFB Golf Course - Falcon

Playing the course for the first time, we did not have course knowledge on a couple of blind shots and a few difficult carries over ravines. Otherwise course played very fair

First time playing this course. Played the Eagle due to a scamble on the Falcon. Eagle is older of the two courses and was a lot of fun. Was told by the staff that it would be easier due to its openess.

Good value especially when on a hot deal from golfnow

It was a cold windy morning, yet, the course made it worthwhile. There are an ample number of tees to allow any manner of play. The staff were friendly and the pace of play superb. Great time on a cold morning.

lots of hazards and narrow fairways with deep woods on the fringes. Greens are good size but in poor condition.

slope of course was 139 so was harder than most courses we play here. It was the Falcon course not the Eagle...our friends found it too tough for them but my husband and I enjoyed it...several valleys to tee over and the fairways were sloped on many holes. The greens were fast and needed at bit of work on some. Overall we enjoyed our day.

We are disappointed that golfnow is charging the fee per person again...makes it hard when your paying in Cdn dollars to convert to U.S. dollar when your seniors.

The worst conditioned course I have ever played on, would not recommend this course at any price.

The course is in great condition. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Play moves along normally. I always enjoy Eglin when I'm in the area.

Very challenging course. Long and very hilly. Most approach shots are to an elevated green. Greens were fast, buy not in very good condition.

Course is awful and lacks needed maintenance. Must be a victim of sequestration.

We had high winds, too till the last few holes to compensate adequately. Certainly a 2-3 club wind when shooting into it.
This is a very nice course, challenging to the mind as well as to the body. Love it!

great place to play. some easy holes and some hard . would be hard for a first time player. would recommend the course.

Loved the course. Would live to play it in the spring or summer when the grass isn't dormant. The greens were tough and not green.

The play was real slow, we almost did not get finished playing. We had players coming up to us asking is anyone in front of us. The answer was yes, about three foursomes, and there was nothing we could do about it.

Very good deal on a good course. Staff was friendly, and pace was good.

My son, nephew and I played this challenging venue for the first time. Hidden ravines full of prickly bushes, marshlands and gators force careful course management... tough on the first time round. Undulating greens, sloping fairways made for a challenge. Best to play with a regular if you can. Falcon course reputed to be tougher than Eagle...which made pace of play pleasant. Most of the other golfers were on Eagle and we pretty much had Falcon all to ourselves. Great staff...good grub and a full bar on the 19th make the course and practice facilities worth every bit of a "hot deal".

Definitivamente un campo que se debe jugar si estas visitando a la zona costanera de Pensacola hasta Panama City Beach. El campo es lo suficientemente facil para novatos de average 20-30 Handicap pero tambien retador para los jugadores mas superiores de 0-15 handicap. Eglin tiene dos campos de 18 hoyos y ambos estan bien atendidos.
