Greens need work
Staff was super friendly and loved the layout. This was our 3rd time playing this course. Has always been nice, but this time greens were in poor shape.

Wide fairways
Long touted by one of my playing partners, it lived up to expectations.
Fairways not perfect, but much better than most other courses we play.
Greens well kept.
Unfortunately, rainy day, so we'll have to go back

The course is almost perfect
The tee boxes and fairways were top notch, the greens had just been sanded and they’re coming around. Probably another month and all but one will be in excellent condition. The scenery was awesome, the lay out of the course was well thought out. None of this cross crossing back and forth like you see on some courses. We played here while camping in the area and for $39, we’ll definitely play it again. Just next time, maybe there won’t be an senior citizens golf tournament going on. It got a little congested after the turn.

For the Bogie golfer
This course is just fun. There are plenty of challenges, but you can also hit away. Regretfully the greens have had some recent difficulty and they are working overtime to get them back. Usually they are medium fast and perfect though so don't let that stop you.
Disappointed
Stone creek is usually in great shape, but the greens this time we’re poor at best. They were top dressed recently and that never helps, but the turf itself was scarce and the surface uneven. Usually they some of the best greens in the area but not right now-hope they recover

Usually in good condition...course is in transition apparently from winter to summer...greens recent aerification and heavily top dressed with sand...fairways very tight lies and hard as rock...probably won't be good for several weeks...not a lot of fun right now...wish I would have been warned by golf now when making the reservation...will return when things improve in a few weeks

Greens gone
The course is in bad shape right now. Greens are non existing, fairways are in fair shape, hard and dry and fee boxes are in modest condition. There should be a posting about greens in repair. I love this course, but current shape does not make it worth the money. I asked inside at the pho shop why they didn't have the greens under repair and got nothing but a run around. "We do this everyear" even though a staff on the course said this was the worse it has been with more work to be done. As much as I love this course, it will be a while before I come back.

Poor stewardship of course
We have not played this course in a couple of years. At that time it was beautiful and well maintained. Not the case this time. Obvious issues with the green. They had punched and sanded but looks to have lost considerable amounts of grass on greens. Fairways were sparse and browned out. Went by sales center where the grass was nice and lush. What's the problem.

Great experience
Had an old friend in town , and his wife, didnt realize he was handicapped, no problem for Stonecreek staff. Made my friend feel welcome and he loved the course. We had a great time, enjoyed the course and the restaurant afterwards. I never rode with a handicap flag before but the rangers were helpful and gracious. Great job by the whole staff.

Course is always in great shape. Greens transitioning grasses but that happens this time of year- all things considered very good.
Last minute afternoon booking left pace of play a little slow, but can cope with 4:15. Staff is awesome as usual.

Terrible greens
hamtpon golf took over managing this course 2 years ago. they are terrible. greens full of poa and the ball hops everywhere. last year same thing. they cannot maintain the greens on this course. also they overload the play on the course. play takes an average of over 4 and 1/2 hours pulte needs to get rid of hampton.
then general manager does nothing but sit in his office and the course super is terrible.
he doesn't even play golf. cant handle the greens. play other courses if you want good vallue.

the course is great, and the staff there have been excellent every time i have played at Stone Creek. it is a must play course to play in Ocala , Florida

Fabulous
One of our must-play courses when we vacation in the area. It is beautifully maintained with a fun, diverse and scenic layout. All the staff are very friendly and professional.
Worth the money
Stonecreek has the best course for the money. Greens and fairways are perfect, lots of room for anyone driving the ball, pace of play was perfect. I can’t say enough about the staff, from the gentleman who brought the cart right to my car and loaded my clubs, gave me pin placement, to the GM, Stan and golf superintendent, Joe who came out while we were playing and asked how everything was, to the fabulous waitresses who were so friendly, and the free popcorn was a great treat. A great experience and wished I lived closer where I could join. Well done Stonecreek
It was end of February Back nine great. Few issues with front greens overall a great day
With few adjustment, would be great.
In from New York (February) so any golf is good for me but, greens need a bit of love to revitalize, and need more club rentals. I play stiff and had to play A-flex rentals. Sand could use some attention. Fun course, good layout, challenging. Plenty of tee box length selections.
