Silver Dollar Golf & Trap Club - Panther/Bobcat Course
About
There are three nines at the Silver Dollar Golf & Trap Club, which can be played individually, consecutively, or as three different 18-hole combinations. Each nine has a unique layout with different challenges but all share the same lush landscape covered with stately trees and water features. The Panther/Bobcat combination offers a mix of narrow and wide fairways, some of which are lined with trees. A few strategically placed bunkers come into play along the greensides and there are also water hazards coming into play on a number of holes. Located just northwest of Tampa along the west Florida coast, the nines represent the best of Florida golf. Silver Dollar also boasts some of the area's most affordable rates, which makes the versatile layouts doubly appealing.

Interesting layout
Played it for the first time, need to try the 3rd nine. But for the cost, it was worth it. Are there bare spots, yes, is everything manicured to perfection, no. But for what you pay to play there, it’s a fun little track.
I’ve played this course many times over the years. It’s unfortunate that the last year or so the course has not been taken care of. The greens are not in good condition and the fairways have some green on them. I wouldn’t say it’s grass mostly weeds. This course could be better if it was given the care that it needs. I will not be going back there to play.
typical
Lots of water and a few traps justlike most of these courses. Greens seemed to have a bit of contour to them but the putts didn't break.
player
greens are fast fairways a little rough on the back
Faitways
Being early in the year, The Fairways were a little rough, Sandy, and bare patches. It was our first time on the bobcat trail, long holes. Enjoyable afternoon, can hardly wait to come back.
Hidden gem
I love this what I call a hidden gem , 3 different nines to choose from, I’ve played here 3 times in the last few months and they keep it very nice and always improving the course, worth every penny.
Greens good, fairways, not so much
Low cost, Sunday morning round with reservations made the day before.
Most fairways were not in great shape but we knew that going into it.
Greens are in good shape.
If you are looking for a more pristine course in better shape you’ll best to
Keep looking. We had fun for the price we paid and didn’t wait on any hole.
We had lunch afterwards at their restaurant and it was pretty good with a friendly staff
I played Silverdollar for many years, but it’s been a while since last I played it. The condition of the course seems to be deteriorated. I don’t see myself going back there unless they improve the overall condition. There are too many other courses in the area that are in much better shape for the same amount of money.
silver service
groundskeepers are super greens are great fairways open great shape !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No Grass!
Fairways were dirt. The foot golf flags are red and were mistaken as being the flag.
They should be a different color and paint the stick too so it is clearly different.
Needs work
The greens were terrible it felt like I was walking through a marsh on the greens. The course layout is very confusing ( I didn’t finish the course I was over it)
Challenging but very nice course
First time playing here today. It was challenging but with the help of the other golfers around me they let me know how the course is and where to put my ball in the best place possible. All around helpful and one of the best rounds I’ve played so far
