Terrible course conditions, mowers on fairways
Played early on a Saturday morning. Both front 9 and back 9 has mowers on the fairways. Mowing crews driving directly at tee box while teeing off. Pace of play was terrible. They seem to let a big groups of locals shotgun start at 8 am. Greens are not in good shape and they closed the best 9 hole course with no notice. It's cheap but not worth the money. Went home halfway thru the back nine due to slow pace and a new mowing crew showing up in play. Even the snack bar is slow and not real friendly. Layout has many blind tee shots, which become a safety issue due to how crowded it is. Better value courses nearby.
Horrible conditions
Some greens were brown, unplayable. You’ll lose all your balls because they don’t know how to cut grass. Avoid. Should be $20 max for 18.
Cow pasture golf
Greens and Fairways were not up to par. Too many flags on course grass overgrown in fairways.
Don’t play early
Was first group to tee off on Gator and now I know why it was a “hot deal”. Fairways and especially greens were drenched (holes were filled with water and greens were almost unputtable due to puddles and grass). The back 9 was the complete opposite. The back 9 fairways had little to no grass while the greens were in excellent condition.
Overall the layout was fun and challenging but the course conditions brought the experience way down.
Bang for the Buck
This was the first time I had played in about a year and this course was perfect. Everyone was friendly and it was great to get out. I played quickly and enjoyed my round.
Rough shape
Dried out greens and fairways. Pretty rough shape right now. Wouldn’t recommend playing unless you’re just looking to get out and play a quick round.
Staff and Course Conditions
Front desk guy that was working was not the friendliest and looked like he was annoyed to work.
Course conditions were terrible. Dry fairways that were hard as a rock; greens were so fast and the course was in rough condition. For the price of the course it should be $15-$20 at max.
For the money, you can’t beat it.
A challenging course at an affordable price. Course conditions were above par for the price. I say for the price because I’ve payed more for way less.
Silver Golf Course
Nice place to go play golf. Don’t expect anything special b/c it’s not that type of course. Pace of play was great and staff were friendly. Saw some pretty cool nature while out there!
Condition of fairways less than adequate
7:50 am t-time does not work very well with sun in the eyes. Grass poor maintenance. Hard to see or find the ball when not in fairway.
Silver Dollar
Crazy the range going off that rapidly! A cottage course but plays longer than you think…
