good for the cost
In fairly good shape most greens ok some a bit sandy overall course is good
Terrible greens
The last two times that I've played here the greens have been terrible. They are taking steps to address the matter but lots must be done just to reach average status. Tees also need work.

As prominently posted on both sides of pro shop entrance door and on top of the check in counter TEMP Green #3 and greens #10, #12, #17 have been punched and sanded. Our staff intimates this verbally to each group at check in as well. We are aggressively working on these greens with a complete re sprigging of #3 that has matured ahead of schedule. We should re-open that one in the next 2-3 weeks. We will continue to aerify and sand all of #10 and partial trouble areas on #12, #17 These greens are realizing measurable gains every day as summer warm overnight temps encourage Bermuda grass growth 24 hours a day now. We appreciate your patience. Please understand we all want the best conditions as quickly as possible. The golf course overall conditions is very good and we have received many positive comments to that effect and we thank you.
Good but greens need work
Great course, in good condition except that several greens were in bad shape. Hole 3 had a temporary location so maybe that shows they are working on it, but several greens were very sandy, aerated, and in rough shape. Other than the greens, the rest of the course was very nice. Fix the greens and this is a top notch course for the money!
Great out of season value.
First time playing this course made easier with GPS systems on carts. Fairways in good shape with mature grass in fairways. Greens had not been cut and were bumpy. Third hole has a temporary green and several others have patchy areas covered in sand. We enjoyed our round and will play it again.
greens need alot of work
Nice layout but greens need a lot of work. Play from the back tees would be a challenge.
BAD GREENS
Greens are in horrible shape! Pro shop did notify us 3rd green was under repair, but did not say that the rest of them need the same treatment. The staff was very nice, but coarse need a lot of work! !!
variety
I really like the layout and design of the entire course. Some short par fours with tricks and some long Back tees not far from the regular tees and might not challenge the very good..

Green were not consistent shape some were totally green some were in repair due to grass dying.

There were some green with patches and a couple were heavily sanded. Was a slow day. Fairways were good and most t boxes ok.

thr course had several greens under repair with sand on them, the fairways were excellent as were the tee boxes.the sand traps were a little firm. a nice course to play.
Good value
It was a windy day. We did not play great golf and all of us was well over our England handicap . We enjoyed the course just a bit slow. We were a three ball following a three ball. We were warned about the three sanded greens before play. We got a good price on a hot deal and enjoyed the day.
The last hole caught all three of us out all losing a ball in the water. We would play here again on a good price .
Like this course
This course generally provides a good challenging round. The greens on at least four holes continue to be poor. During this round, no Marshall was in sight and we experienced slow play and poor etiquette by the group in front of us. Golfers: Do Not leave your cart in front of the green when you are on the green! Drive it to the back of the green.
Would like to see East Bay revies their hole handicaps. #16, women's Par 4, 6th handicap hole??

bad greens and slow play
3 greens were dead (very little grass) and covered with greenish looking sand. The other greens were inconsistent and the ball did not roll smoothly. The course was recovering from heavy rain and they probably could not do their normal maintenance before we played. I have played this course a few times but not for a couple of years, it has always been in better condition than it was this year. The pace of play was very disappointing with no one on the course trying to speed things up.

Staff should tell you about the greens. 2 greens totally under sand and unplayable. Fairways real nice and traps ok. Has some real nice holes to play. Starter was not friendly at all.

Great layout!
Fairways in great condition but some greens were not. I played four courses in my trip to the area, all in this price range. This was by far the best value. There is however not enough info on hazards from tee but a second round would make that a non-issue.
Poor Green
Over the last four years this course has certainly deteriorated. The greens were in very poor shape and need some major care.

Greens in bad shape
All Fairways in good conditions and well maintained.
Some greens are in really bad shape.
We were able to play 18 holes in 4h30, very reasonable time.
We've seen 4 gators different size ! Good entertainment.

Well at least we got some credit for working on our greens, so that's a move in the right direction! We have recovered 90% of trouble areas on greens in the spring transition and our crew continues to work hard to improve all conditions every day.
Terrible is a bit harsh but thanks for acknowledging conditions have improved!
