Bill's epic adventure
This is a short course with a great deal of water, and very well placed sand traps. Course shows a great deal of pride in upkeep, greens are fast but true and quite and fairly sloped. Work on your mid irons and chipping before having a chance to shoot low here.
Great Lakes!
Crane Lakes never disappoints, again. Although a par 66, brace yourself! Water on pretty much every hole, water, water, water. Always in great shape, super greens! I played courses around Daytona with friends last year, including CL, and they said they would come back here in a snap! Don't let the 66 fool you, this is a GREAT course! Top shape!
One of the best in the area
Great little course in great shape all around. Don't let the length fool you its a very challenging track
Consistently in great shape!
Been living here for 12 years now and this is the ONLY course in the Daytona Beach area that has consistantly been in great shape! Love playing the course! Hats off to the course staff!!!
Great Course!
I really liked this course. A lot of water and great iron play. Tight and tricky, but I loved the challenge. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
Stay away from this course
I signed up for this course. After checking in, I found out that they have double booked everybody due to Existing tournament.
The staff were very confused and did not know what to do.
I decided to cancel my game and go to another golf course.
Stay away from this course unless you live there.
Outside people are not being treated nicely.
Happy repeat player
I like this course, awesome greens
Most can okay for less than $30.00
A STEAL
1st time
It was our first time on this course and didn’t realize how short the course is and that we would be playing behind multiple groups of youth golf academy students which included groups of 4-5 youth with one adult. The pace was incredibly slow waiting for them to move after every shot.
Hot
We played today in the blistering heat but plenty of shade while waiting. The pace was a bit slow but still ok. 4 hr round. Not bad. We could have finished in 3 hr. Oh well. Course was in excellent condition. Greens were fantastic. Great speed. Fairway was excellent. Bunkers were nice sugar sand. Very soft. Tee box was nice. The entire course was in excellent condition. 5000+ from the whites. Tips are a nice distance. I recommend this place. Bring sun screen and plenty to drink. 5☆s
Very well kept
Just like the name Cranes and Lakes. Lots of them. But well cared for. Bring balls and play the middle.
I WILL be back
Been playing golf in the NSB/Daytona area for 20 years and somehow I just stumbled upon Crane Lake for the first time. I have been missing out. This course is in fantastic condition from tee box to green. Not a blade of grass out of place. It’s also a fairly short course which it great for a short hitter like myself. The practice range is also the nicest range I’ve ever seen.
Short but somewhat challenging course
This is a very short course with lots of par threes and if you hit it straight you can score really well but go left or right or short and you invariably will end up in water! Greens are very good and overall condition of the course was good. Pace of play was OK - foursome in front of us didn’t know what ready golf was.
Mini LPGA but more difficult
I've avoided Crane Lakes for years due to the short yardage and par 66. Big mistake, Crane Lakes maybe the best conditioned course in the area and also probably the tougest test from the tips. I definitely recommend moving up one tee your first time out due to many hidden hazards. I will definitely be returning
Always a great time
Crane lakes is reopened since the Covid shutdown and they remain at the top. You’ll love playing here, they usually book it pretty full so you’ll probably be behind someone but just enjoy your golf round and you won’t even notice
