The Club Renaissance
About
The beautifully manicured, par-72 Renaissance Golf Course features two distinctive nines. The front nine has an open links feel to it with wide fairways and greens that will accept bump-and-run approach shots. The back nine requires more accuracy from tee to green as it meanders through a large conservation area. Water comes into play on every hole on the inward nine on this course designed by Chip Powell. Most fairways are lined with stately pines and ancient oaks. The greens at the Renaissance Golf Club are a pleasure to putt. These TifEagle Bermuda grass putting surfaces are state-of-the-art and roll fast.

Lovely Course
With a mixture of tees to suit varying abilities the course affords everyone with a challenging yet very fair course. Greens were albeit a few bore signs of some form of disease. Have played the course over a goodly number of years and it never disappoints.
Extra fee
Brought my gf and after nine holes we came in to pick up food they didn’t know she was riding , added 40 dollars to the bill. I thought that was way to high. It was only 65 for me
Great course for the money
I thoroughly enjoyed Club Renaissance. The course layout is nice, the false front of the greens adds an extra level of difficulty and the club made great use of the property it was given. Fairways were in great shape. Apparently new greens had just been put down, but they were in pretty good shape for the most part aside from a bit of over seeding. Tee boxes were a bit questionable, I played from the burgundy tees and they could use a bit of TLC. My biggest disappointment was the lack of a beverage cart, no hitting range, and a pretty small chipping/putting green. Overall I had a great time and definitely will be coming back.
Golf review
Great layout, conditions good but greens don’t hold, very firm. Overall nice time and good experience. I will be back
Great value but hard greens
Played here on Sunday and the course was in great shape and the pace of play was very good for 80 bucks.
Only slight complaint: the new greens are rock hard. Every approach shot was like trying to land a ball on the blacktop. I appreciate that they’re putting money back into the course though.
Florida Golf
The course was fine but because of the dry weather it was not lush. For almost $80.00 you don't expect thin fairways and greens. Pace of play was pretty good except as expected on the par thees and short par fours. The club house staff were friendly and helpful.
Upgrades needed
We found this course easy to get on versus better courses near Sarasota. Roughs and fairways real thin. With the amount of play seems like a beverage cart would be a profit center. No range.. Upgrade this course and it would be a future destination..
Lack of care and love
Burnt grass - no grass on almost all teeoffs - blue markers teeoffs only on 2 holes - do not pay more than $30 !!!
Club Renaissance
A very nice Florida Golf Course. Their greens are the best within a 25-mile radius.
Nice course!
Had a fun time playing this course. Had a fun group, played a little slow. Course was in great shape.
