Madison Green Country Club

The fairways were in bad shape. Many of them were brown. Some were nice. Greens were in nice shape. Tee boxes were ok. Was disappointed. The pace of play was very slow. We were waiting on every shot.

I’ve played this golf course for many years. The layout is great and there are many interesting holes. However, the course is in very poor condition. Perhaps the cloudy conditions and excess rain has contributed to the problem. However, something must be done to get the course back to respectable condition.

If you like bunkers, this is your course. Most holes do not provide you with any bail out so your only option is to hit it straight. Well if we all did that, we'd be on tour. There's lots of undulation so you get quite a bit of side hill lies. Some of the holes are visually daunting, especially the par 5 second that has water in front and to the left with bunkers to the right in front of an everglades like area. So hit it dead straight into the 25+ yard wide landing area that slopes towards the water. Good luck. This hole causes a backup which lasted all day making our round more than 4.5 hours long. There's a lot of grain on the greens which were in good shape. If you're into the grain, pound it. Down grain, tap it. Overall, not a fun experience as there's no room for error.

Always enjoyed this track in the past. Unfortunately the condition of the course has declined a lot. Most fairways had little grass, some none at all. Almost every green had sandy and bare spots making putting inconsistent. Golf staff was very friendly. Service at the "MarBar" (19th hole) was poor. Servers were young not seem to understand service.

Fairways were barren. Very little grass. Maybe an issue with the irrigation system. Unacceptable with as much rain as we’ve had

Most fairways are burnt brown. Alot of tee boxes have no grass. Back nine groups cutting in all over no rangers to be found.

More brown than green on fairways and greens not in very good shape. Extremely slow play, even after we called for a ranger.

I usually LOVE THIS COURSE , unfortunately this past Sunday both the greens and fairways were dry and hard making scoring very difficult!

Course is tight., bunkersand fairways need attention.

I love this place. Great layout, very challenging if I say so! The staff are awesome everyone is super friendly. Scott I think runs the place or at least pro on hand was awesome and actually gave a couple hints! Again great place to play!!! I love this place

First time playing Madison Green. The course layout was very good. Great value. On the back side, there were many spots with no grass but that's not unusual for a Florida golf course. I'll play this course again.

Best course we played on our trip to south Florida.

This course is in fair … The driving range was terrible .
No grass you were hitting off the weeds, the range balls were all marked, scratched and very old.
The piece of play was the worst I’ve ever seen in my 50 years of golfing, the Marshall, even though we saw him numerous times, didn’t do anything about slow play in front of us, parking honor, near the greens with the golf cart, or parking in the middle of the fairway and walking up to put from 30 yards.
The course conditions were less than fair, part of the fairways were in good shape, the greens were OK, but very inconsistent. The course has a tremendous amount of potential but it’s obvious they don’t have the right people in place to manage it such as a superintendent or the proper staff to control and improve your experience
