Madison Green Country Club
About
With over 200 courses in Palm Beach County, architect John Sandford knew he would have to create something special to get attention. At Madison Green Country Club he did just that, creating a unique course that combines many of the best features from local courses, with a few surprises all its own.
Over a thousand palm trees line the course as do over 100 bunkers and 42 acres of shimmering lakes.
One very interesting aspect of the design is that not only does the course get longer as you move back in tees, but the shot angles also get increasingly challenging. This means that the good player not only has further to hit but must also place the ball more accurately on the fairway in order to set himself up for his next shot.
A young teen, his father, his mother and even his grandfather playing together from four different sets of tees will all experience a fair challenge for their respective games that still remains enjoyable!

Slow pace of play
I went for a tee time at 2:30pm and we started playing at that time for 18 holes. We only played 10 holes before the sun light wasn’t enough, the pace of play was really slow, the tees were backed up with two groups waiting for tee of every hole after number 3. The course has a really good layout but with the pace of play, it couldn’t be enjoyed.
TLC Needed
Course is dry and sparsely grass covered fairways. Very hard ground conditions. Better courses nearby for greater value. Overpriced for current conditions. Starter could be friendlier.
Not worth the money
If this course was in much better condition this review would be different. It looks run down. Almost like they are in the process or re-modeling it. Definitely not worth what the charge. The carts alone were trash let alone the actual course. I played 2 other course this week one hald the peice and one just a few dollars cheaper. Both courses blew Madison Green away. Very disappointing especially for the price.
Golf Day
We had a great round at this coast. Great layout. Some challenges, but still nice.
Great course with slight annoyances
The design and care for the course are up there with some of the best. They do a terrible job with enforcing green divot repair from players (this is very common in So. Fl. golf) and they’re bev cart was out there but somehow only seen 1 time in 18 holes 5 hr round. They also have 3 Igloo cooler water stations out on the entire course in So. Fl. that have really swampy tasting water. The layout is fun and it’s a real thinking course which I personally love.
Same song and dance
Got here 15 minutes before my tee time, desk told me they were behind and I could hit a few range balls, bag boy/starter wouldn’t give me the bucket. I then proceeded to wait 15 more minutes at the first tee box to tee off and waited at every single tee box. Course has a “balding” feature in the fairways and the greens are soft and thin. Course is tough and I do not know why I continue to ruin my day going here. Off course amenities are excellent tho.
All around Gem!
First time playing this course and immediately from the first staff member I meet to the goodbye from the beautiful bartender this place was great. Super helpful friendly staff all around. The course was in great condition and the greens rolled very true and quick. Tight fairways and tons of water makes it challenging but fun. A few tee boxes were a little rough but manageable. Highly recommend playing this course.
A jewel !!!
The conditions are very good and the lay-out is fantastic, i recommend this course.
Very Slow Play, Too Expensive
Had a 9:07 tee time, starter told us to go to the tee at 9:00. There was a group on the green, fairway and tee box. 9 holes played on 2:40. It was raining and had no patience to play 18 holes in 5+ hours. They charged $80 per player, fairways had many bare spots, bunkers not playable. Will never return.
Surprisingly good
this course is very strategic. There are a half dozen or so tees. Quite a bit of water to deal with. Sand traps are not well maintained. Substantial opportunities for risk reward decisions. Greens are in good shape...fairways are in winter mode.
I paid 40 dollars on a golf now special. Well worth it
wind and water
Blustery day with borrowed clubs made this a challenge. Greens were great, tee boxes and fairways need som love. Players got out of order on the turn and slowed play on back nine. Yardage markers were almost nonexistent….need gps on carts big time.
