Great Value
Right now this course is in very good shape. They were charging $26 for a weekend morning round which was a fantastic deal but according to the website they have raised those rate to $35. I still will play at this price but they can’t afford to lose any part of the course conditions in order for me to keep going back.
Heritage and Memorial are easy courses and don’t require a “long ball” to score. Champions and Masters are slightly harder but still are not difficult. The only complaint I have is that they don’t allow personal coolers but at the same time they don’t have a beverage cart. Sometimes I like to get an adult beverage (or two) in me on the front nine.
Always better than working
got to get out with 3 good friends. Had a good day, course in great shape as always.
Always better than working
great day out with a couple great friends. Course is always in great shape..
Eagle Ridge Experience
Played there for a 2nd time. Brought two relatively new golfers to expose them to “Championship Golf “ course of play. Course conditions were excellent on the front 9 (Champions), although the back 9 (Memorial) just had the greens aerated, so not very appealing. Good golf at a very fair cost!
Crazy 8
Great course....have now played all four nines.....awesome layout.....worth the drive up there.. The staff is excellent......one of are favorites......thanks guys..
Eagle Ridge
Course is in good shape. Greens roll true and are in good shape.
Always better than working
Great day out with great friends. Course was in great shape, tain stayed away. Had a great round.
All great except restrooms on course
We really enjoy this course. One suggestion is to give the restrooms on the course a scrubbing and some paint.
Best course in Area
Played pretty quick, course in great shape, great price for this course.
Dishonest Course Again
Overseeding without warning on GN. No discount for the conditions. The grass in the fairways and rough was 4 to 6 inches and the greens were not puttable. inch long grass on the greens. We drove 45 minutes with NO WARNING and were offered nothing for the trouble.
Very Poor Condition right now
On this Wednesday in November the course was in VERY poor condition. We played the Masters and Champions loop but it didn’t look like the other two courses were much better. I’m assuming that they overseeded the fairways because you were not allowed to drive on them but the putting greens were longer than the fairways and there was NO first cut on the greens. You went from a long grass surroundings to the shaggy and long putting surface. I’m not a greens keeper but it looks like they “lost” the greens and they are now trying to “get them back” or at least make it LOOK like they are doing something. The problem with this is that these courses take forever to recover from any kind of damage or maintenance!! I have always played Eagle RIdge on a consistent basis over the years but when it is in this bad of shape I know I won’t be back for a couple of months.
Great Sunday Value
$25 to play on Sunday morning! Greens always seem to be good here. Don't play it enough to have a favorite 9, but there are 4 of them and they are all very playable with some tough holes thrown into the mix. Did not have hot meals for lunch on a Sunday, that was disappointing, but enjoyed everything else.
Fairly Priced
First off we played Champions to Heritage and the Heritage course was in SLIGHTLY better condition than Champions. Now, with that said...
We received 7 inches of heavy rain the Friday before the Sunday that we played this course. It was obvious the "damage" that the rain had done to the greens. The greens looked like the rain had washed away parts of the putting surface. They were not unplayable by any means but they did have bare spots and were quite bumpy. The sand traps were either flooded or un touched by the grounds crew and I DO NOT blame them for this. The tee boxes were in good condition. We played 18 holes in a cart on Sunday morning for $25 and this was a fair price considering the condition of the course. I have played this course many times and I hope that with the right attention to the right areas they will use this wet weather as an opportunity to improve the greens. Fairways were good with plenty of grass to hit off of. I would rec this course at this price right now with the hope that it improves.
