Rating 74.0

The Golf Club at South Hampton was designed to give every golfer appropriate risk-and-reward opportunities that supply both encouragement to beginners and challenges for more advanced players. The slope and contour of the course’s landscape is its trademark with strategic mounding and over 60 contoured bunkers that emphasize the terrain’s natural undulations. The course features rolling fairways and massive greens. There are also sixteen large lakes that come into play throughout. The signature hole is the tremendous par-5, 17th, which is a scenic hole that features a lake, fairway bunkers, and a breaking green. Although the course is a challenge, there are six sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels.

Two courses

Frontl nine was in the roughest shape I’ve ever seen at this course. But the back nine was awesome. Still a great course and well worth playing. Just a little surprising that the front was in a bit of disrepair with dried out greens and fairways. Rock hard. Even good shots rolled off Never to be found again. I’m sure it’s just a very temporary thing but either way not what is typical at this course

Greens / approach has seen better days

When there is more sand / dirt on 7 out of 18 of your greens there is no reason to charge 75$ plus to play a course that should play for $45 untill conditions subside.

Good layout

Enjoyed the course, but could be in better shape. I’d imagine they’ll get it top notch in a month or so.

Showed up and hour early for my tee time only to be told they were running an hour behind. No customer service, an email or phone call should have been made

I WOULD BE EMBARRASSED……

… to charge anybody $80 to play this course on a weekend or $70 during the week. Any of the other courses on County Road 210 are in much better condition and are actually worth the green fees that are charged, unlike here. IMHO.

OWNERS NEED TO WAKE UP!

Divots everywhere. Pock marked greens. Barren sand traps with very few rakes. Improperly plugged old holes. ….. and they want $70 on a weekday morning? Do yourself a favor and play CIMARRONE right across CR210 for $55. The greens are a bit slow but at least they roll straight and true. They have brand new carts with GPS, they have sand in all of their traps and they do not collect water when it rains. They even have rakes for their traps. Cimarrone is maintained much better overall!
