Tough Course with No amenities
Staff were civil, but just barely. Driving range ball dispenser didn’t work. No course personnel available on the course during our round.
Wind made this course a real bear. Not fun for mid-teens handicap golfer.
Great course
If your a good golfer it stinks to warm up on artificial turf. The starter was pleasant and we took off on time. Of course, the group in front of us played from the blue tees and averaged very short drives, therefore slowing the pace. Challenging layout. tee boxes, fairways and greens in great condition. Worth the money. Looks like a good place for event as well. Nice clubhouse.
Challenging and electrifying experience
I played midday Thursday expecting a slow day but to my surprise plenty of golfers are out and about. The airport nearby was very busy (and loud) as well. This course has plenty of challenges for the average golfer. Greens and sand traps are well maintained. A lot of bridges to cross pay attention to the signs printed on rocks or you may get lost looking for the next hole. One hole where I heard birds chirping, the rest were car alarms, departing small planes and golfers shouting fore. The 18th scared me since it was under power lines and you can hear surging electricity.
Crossings Challenge
Fabulous golf course - a true shotmakers course ......
Keep the ball in the fairway .....
Sweet, challenging track
Played 36 in a day for my first time out to the crossings. Can't beat a $35 Saturday replay rate. Course was in fantastic shape. Fairways are tight on some holes. Greens were running at an average to quick speed. Lots of driving in between holes which allows you to view the scenery around you. Staff was very friendly, new/huge clubhouse, fully stocked booze/snack bar located conveniently to stop in at the turn. Only downside is no carts in the parking lot, had to lug my bag to my car after playing 36 but no biggie. Give it an A all around, will definitely be back.
Beautiful course and amazing staff
This course has everything you need to have an enjoyable round of golf. Practice facilities, helpful staff and beautiful surrounds.
LOVED THE PLACE
Almost a perfect experience. From the bag drop off service to the Tee Box. The short game practice area is AWESOME.
Only negatives were the Range-Mats. They are not the kind I've seen at most places. You can't use the typical range-mat tee's or tee's you would use on the course. So I had to hit off the carpet.
Also I got stuck with (last minute) another golfer who was in a extremely foul mood. He complained the hole time and dropped the "F-bombs" after every shot. I think it hurt his ego that I was outplayed him because I've only been playing a year and it was my 1st time at the course and he had been playing golf for 30 years and played the course many times. :-)
Great challenge every time
I play this course fairly often for the past year (at least once a month). Liked it so much I joined their annual membership.
The course conditions have always been very good (other than verification) and the people there are great.
Pace of play on occasion slow, but tolerable.
The practice facilities are very nice.
It's worth my time Driving from TJ to play there.
Keep up the great work!
A very good challenge for any golfer.
First course played in California and overall a most enjoyable experience.Course was in good condition with some very challenging holes comprising drives over valleys etc. Greens were good and the challenge there was they were nearly all undulating. All in all a most enjoyable experience and thoroughly enjoyed the challenge.
Not worth the money
I recently hosted a friend from out of town. We wanted to play a really nice course and The Crossings was recommended by a mutual friend. However, he hadn't seen the course in several years. The pro shop staff were cordial and breakfast was pretty good. The amenities, driving range, putting green, etc were fine. However, at the first tee the starter had problems. There was a tournament ahead of us and they hadn't finished making the turn. We were forced to wait over 30 minutes before we could go. And, of course the last group in the tournament was the slowest, an elderly couple.
We ended up waiting on every hole. By the time the couple finished on number 13, we were receiving ugly messages on the cart screen about falling too far behind. These included a threat to ask us to skip a hole to get back on track. Grrrrrrr!!!!
As to the course conditions, when you pay over $100 for a round of gold, you expect the course to be in great shape. It was far from it. The fairways were all burned. There wasn't a single blade of grass to be found. This made every iron shot a major challenge and you could forget about hitting fairway metals. You were hitting off hard pan. As far as the roughs were concerned, there weren't very many. Mostly, if you went outside the fairways your ball was lost. They have some sort of scrub bush everywhere that makes it extremely difficult to find your ball and impossible to hit it if you do find it. Oh, I almost forgot the total lack of sand in the bunkers.
We were paired up and by the end of the round we all agreed that this course did not live up to the billing and it was way over priced. We could all name courses for $50 that were in much better shape.
Good Condition/Weird Layout
Great conditions and greens are nice. Bunkers around greens are great but some others are firm. Five hour round on a Friday but the course is difficult and there are lllooonnngg rides from green to tee. We had a delayed start because they ran out of carts but the starter busted his butt to get us a cart quickly.
Interesting Course
Challenging but friendly course. The green to tee is so far you feel like you’re getting lost. The fairways and greens are in very good condition. Pace of play is excellent. I would probably play it again.
GREAT COURSE
fantastic course, lots of fun, greens are challenging. dont miss this course,

Terrific layout
I am originally from Ireland playing Links type courses so it was a treat to play this type of course with various levels.
