Eagle Dunes Golf Club

Got to the course and checked in at the pro shop, staff was very friendly. I asked if I was paired with anybody and they said that I could get together with a twosome that was about to tee off after me. I get to the first tee and eight threesome tees off and I wait and finally after 10 minutes nobody showed up so I teed off as a single. As I played the first couple of holes it was evident that this round was going to be very slow due to the fact that there was a threesome in front of me and another threesome in front of then. A twosome caught up to me and I asked them if they would like to join me because it was going to be slow, they said yes and we proceeded to be held up almost every hole starting about hole number seven. There were no Rangers out on the course to make sure pace of play was decent. The course was pretty much wide open except for these two threesomes.
The course itself was in decent shape the greens were fast as usual, tea boxes need some help but overall the course is a great course and lay out. Other than the pace of play, this course is a must play in my eyes. I will return and play again

I love the layout but they've had some issues particularly with the greens. Poa is growing on the greens making them unplayable.

I love the people, staff but I cannot recommend at any price based on current conditions. I'll wait another month to play again to see if there are improvements.

Haven't played here in a few years, but the course isn't what it used to be. The greens and have really taken a hit.

The course is wide open with a lot of sand, usually just to one side of the fairway. The greens were in horrible shape.

Greens used to be consistently good at this course, while fairways were average. Now, fairways are a bit worse, and greens are terrible! Don't waste your money.

Nice course. Great pace of play. We got to play together without pairing with someone else.

Fairways were decent but the greens were unplayable in the condition they are in. Hopefully they can get them back into decent condition. Favorite local course to play but the price is a little high for the condition's.

Course has declined since I last played, especially the greens, which have always been stellar in the past.
Several tee boxes were spotty and fairways have too many rough, patchy areas. If you are going to charge premium Winter fees then you should be putting some of that money back into the course and that is not happening. I hope they get this corrected because I do enjoy the layout.

Even though the course is in rough shape (weeds, sandy patches, etc), they offer competitive pricing and the views/layout of the course are tough to beat in FL. The round here can be enjoyable and the staff are really, just don't expect the course conditions to be great and it'll still feel worth a visit.

Played here a few times before and always enjoyed the rounds. Unfortunately not this time. The course is badly in need of repair. The greens are terrible, burned out, bumpy and just difficult to putt on.
It’s a shame it’s gone down so far!

Great course and location. The greens are in need of some attention. Weeds have grown into the greens and there were bare spots that would cause the ball to jump and misdirect. Two months ago the greens were in much better condition. Could use a couple real bathrooms on the course; one on the front and one on the back nine would work out well.

I like this course, and usually the greens are in good shape, but currently not. I hope they're working on them and they'll be back in shape soon.

Tee boxes were bare and beat up. Fairways had little grass on them and greens are worse.

It appears that Eagle Dunes is emulating Redtail. Just awlful greens, which used to be the course’s strong point.
Save your money.

What a great layout. Nice clubhouse. Decent food and prices, nothing fancy. The greens had problems. Lots of algea. Only 6 good ones.. That time of year. But you should still try it.
