Omg
I’ve been playing golf for over 40 years and this golf course was in the worst condition I’ve ever been on a course in my life the greens were burning up the fairways were horrible it needs a lot of attention
Value for the money
The course is in rough shape. The greens are really rough. But on a positive note, the layout is very challenging and it is great for the practice. If some TLC was put into the greens the course would be one I would visit more often than once every six months. Great place to go for practice. And not being rushed at all.
I wish it was better
For the money, it wasn't terrible. This is especially true if you are working on your drives. From the fairways, my own rule was move the ball to some grass. If you putt within a foot of the cup, it's in. The greens were also extremely rough. It you want to get out and hack through a round this isn't terrible.
Would be a great place if it there was of maintenance
Greens are in vary poor condition
Would not recommend under the courses conditions
Value course
Enjoyed playing the course even though the greens are not in good shape. Was very scenic and moderately challenging thanks to bunkers and water. Great place to work on everything in your bag except the putter! Though it was fun and challenging putting...
Get what u pay for
Not complaining the course is rough could use alot of work but for the price and im a beginner so its a course to play on front 9 challenging back 9 more straight holes and long over all for what you pay its great.
Underated
A good golf course should require outstanding shot making and this course does.
The routing on the front nine is spectacular and challenging but unfortunately overgrown and on occasion water sodden although not as bad as the last time I played there.
Holes number three, four and five are spectacular but the overgrowth of the trees and vines obscure landing zones and detract from the true beauty of the layout.
Mowing the fairways and general upkeep is a little behind and will not get better with a fee of $10 which makes the trip worth it.
The front 9 is more links style and wide open with length and changes in height being the imposing factors here.
The back 9 is not as challenging or shaded but still maintains its punch.
For the price a bargain. Remember to take mosquito repellant.
I would love to see a big outfit take over this course as holes 3,4,5,7,8 would be money with a few changes and maintenance.
Ruff
eVERYTHING IN THIS COURSE IS ROUGH. However, it does have some cow pasture charm. The front 9 is pretty difficult with lots of water challenges. Back 9 is more traditional.
I like the course im just starting out its close to home and not very busy ive played 3 times there now course conditions could be better but for the price its fine
GREAT Practice Course
I usually pay about $4 for a bucket of balls and they serve their purpose, but for $1 I got to play this course and get in some good practice.
The layout of this course is great, there are some very difficult holes that require skill to play...and some are wide open and easy...
BUT not only did I practice my ball striking, and chipping and putting ... I also got to practice putting with my wedge, no need to use a putter...no grass.
Seriously, I wish this was closer to my house, I would play it all the time vs. hitting balls at the range.
Not a golf course
This is a joke,5 different types of grass, but no Bermuda.
They shouldn’t charge anything to play this course.
Why even call this a golf course.
No grass on greens, flags never moved, every bit of grass is cut with a yard rotary mower.
This is a embarrassment!
I wish it was better very good location.Beautiful water fall on course.
What a shame....
Played this course several times over the past few years, unfortunately the grounds have not been maintained for reasons unknown. There is work from the Power Co. putting in new High Power lines, but the front nine was just as bad.
The Fairways were not defined nor tee boxes. The greens, or shall i say what USED to be greens....are all dried up and burnt. Ranger swung by as we were on 17 and said it was "Summer-Time" and they'll come back in the winter...I doubt it! Shame, because the course has a fun layout. Front Nine is Florida woods and the road trip through the woods from 5 to 6 is awesome! and Back Nine has a "Links" feel to it with the undulating hills parallel with the former fairways.
I'm not sure if I will play here again....Ill keep an eye on the fairways and green from the road.
Good luck!
