Whew!
Course condition was not very good. Greens were ok
The course was grate
I had fun will do again me and my freinds had a good time will come back again thanks for a good time
decent course
Not bad for the money. I'm new to the game so 9 holes is fine to get some practice and learn the game
Great place to take your kids
This was a weird course to play. Very hard to understand where to hit the ball (day and night course together). This is a great practice course for $10.00 with a cart. I took my kids to play here because it was cheap and looked like a fun time. For $10 you could go to the movies, or play golf. We saw a lot of parents with little kids learning to play, so we will re-name this course, the "Chuck'E'Cheese" course. Our other name for this course is the "Ghetto" course. Beer cans and trash everywhere, as there was no trash cans on the course, portapotty on the course, guy's golfing with there pants below there butt, banged up bondo carts, and the best, gravel pathways for off road diving! We had a great time if you want to play and have fun with your kids or buddies and not really care about your golf game. So grab your friends or kids and go play around, beats the mini golf course.
Course is a little confusing with day/ night course green
Great value for beginners, still fun to bring kids . Course should set up Jr. Tee box for longer holes.
Nice for practice
This was the first time for me golfing this course. I'm a beginner so it's a pretty good course to practice your skills. It was hard to determine where the holes were for the time I played, so that was a little frustrating. Since there is a night course as well I did get confused where the first tee and the first hole was, but figured it out the second time through. The greens were average, but much better than some city courses I've been on (Fairmount)
SLOWW PLAY !
Got stuck behind a fivesome and a husband teaching his wife to play. Had to wait on every hole, did not make for a fun round.
Practice anyone?
I haven't played this course since they lost there 18holes... And even then it was a practice course. I woke up and wanted to swing some clubs but was tired and said to myself let's get some practice in. If you pay anything over $15-$20 you'll be disappointed. Especially when you get to there only lake holes...or should I say swamp. On the positive side, greens were well maintained and you can definitely just play at Van Buren for a quick 9 hole practice round. Night golf is available here which could be a fun night with your kids or a few buddies. Play here if your looking to get in and out in under 3hrs and need short game attention.
Executive Course with several par fours make this course an interesting outing.
1st hole tough at 186 yards but the course gets more reachable on other par 3's.
Carts are available but they handle like a truck so not only do you get a round of golf but you also get a workout trying to negotiate around to course.
Great "Hot Deal" and just a few bucks more than a bucket of balls. Definitely worth it.
Van Buren a great place to blow the dust opf your game
I've loved Van Buren Gold Center from the beginning when I came out to start back into golf after over ten years away from the game. The staff is wonderful and the course is always being worked to make it good. never played at night but that could be fun. My favorite holes are the 7 and 8 on the airport side. Putting greens and chipping greens are available and the range is great with the lights. Not a big fan of hitting off mats but still a nice place to get your game going.
Clean and kept up
I have not played this course in a while but after this last round, I am definitely coming back. It was well maintained and the greens were very nice. A few burdies also helped for a good day!
Great nine hole
I enjoyed my time at this course. Outstanding nine hole course, you have the changes to use several different clubs.
Great course to work on all your clubs
Nice little course, tucked away in Riverside. Had a lot of fun playing the course because it gave me a chance to work on all my shots.
Great coarse to practice iron play
Staff is friendly, coarse is kept in good shape. Great place to get your iron game up to par. For the money (with golf now discount especially ) it is a really good value.
Nice course for beginners
This course is no PGA level course but it is a great course for beginners. It is a really good course for the money. It is well maintained, it has some fun holes and very nice staff. You can't beat the value, I have played here for as low as $5 with cart to $10 with cart.
not ffor me
Pretty good greens but that's it. Hard to follow course, no yardage signs. My bag fell off the cart twice this was due to poor restraint strips or the bumpy grounds. They need some kind cart path. If you want to practice but hate hitting from mates, this course nay be for you.
Course has fantastic staff thst keeps everything green and great!
Staff in pro shop were very helpful and friendly. Snack shop personnel was fantastic but prices on beer are a lil steep ;) Overall best 9 holer and driving range in the I.E!!
Great 9-Hole Course
This is a fun 9-hole course that allows you to pull out the driver on a few holes. The greens are really nice and the play is somewhat challenging. It's definitely worth the money for this course.
this course doesn't allow you to use your driver on the course. just so you know.
