A fun layout
Very short floating range don't plan on doing anything other then stretching here.
The greens were in pretty fair shape, better then I expected for the price. The fairways did need some love. With some more revenue from more play the course has potential, I had fun. Pretty simple layout not a whole lot of surprises.
Staff at the course was very nice. Would play again.
Bang for the Buck
Decent course for the rate provided. Each time I have played at this course the staff has had an attitude toward golfnow tee time customers for some odd reason - mostly the older staff members and not the high school/cart guys.
Great course for the money and conveniently located
Good course for the money and easy to get to, never overly crowded
I like this course
Rolling hill actually has a few Florida type hills...it is not Tennessee hills but still fun.
The greens are usually perfect and hard to read. You have to go over water a few times so bring some old balls. Also many busy streets are near the fairways so if you are wild off the tee, it may not be for you.
Driving range worthless, over water and they use some weird balls that are not golf balls at all,
Average at best.
Course is in a nice neighborhood in Longwood. Proshop looked like an old shack. The range is 4 stalls where you hit floaters into a small lake. Good price. You get what you pay for.
The only good thing right now is the layout...
Unfortunately the only good thing right now at Rolling Hills is the layout! Watch your nice tee shot shape around some trees or down a slope and then pick the ball up and go home. I paid $10 and it was too much! The fairways were dirt and the rough was, well worse than that. The course was empty, so I did move my ball around to OK spots and I played 27 holes in less than 4 hours. The greens were good for $10 as well. However, the day was frustrating and it will be some time before I play there again. And I like the course! Sad, but it will be back to decent some day...I hope!
nice elevations for an Orlando area course
For the average golfer, this course offers enough diversity to be challenging yet extremely manageable.
I've always enjoyed this course because of it's elevation changes.
Rolling Hills is one of those courses that I keep coming back to play. I love the elevation changes and the overall layout of the course.
While some of the greens have a bit of a problem, overall the course in in good shape.
