Awesome golf course
This golf course is very challenging. We played in Creekside / Ridgeline and they were equally difficult to play. The view is nice and it is certainly designed for serious players for golf. Highly recommended!
Fabulous course to play
Golf now special rate of $59.00, how can you pass that up! Course in excellent condition staff courteous and friendly. Cant wait to play again to see third course.
Great value with the Hot deal
Played as a 3-some at noon on Tuesday and finish the round in 3 hour 40 minutes. Will play again if I could find more hot deals.
Amazing Course
Loved the course. Beautiful views all around. Probably the best course Ive ever played condition, scenery and challenging wise. The only complaint I have about my experience is the guy working in the pro shop the morning I went was very rude and unwelcoming. If it wasnt for him I would of gave 5 stars but hopefully next time hes not there. Everyone else was very nice and helpful tho.
Challenging
Be aware if there is a lot of wind - plays like a link course. If you play the course first time - can be brutal - tight fairways and serious long from the tips
The course was in good shape the greens were still a little bumpy from aeration

First time playing Moorpark Country Club. Starter recommended playing Ridgeline to Canyon which was a great combination. Not much to add to what has been written already except the elevated tees are very deceiving if you haven't played here before. Even with a gps in hand, the ball well struck, appearing to be going over the back of the green, it still ended up short by several yards. I definitely will be back to play this course again!
Among the best public courses you'll play. 3 different 9 hole courses all beautiful and challenging. have a game or bring lots of balls. Enjoy the views.
Good value
If you like elevated tees, you will love this course. Good condition and beautiful canyon views on this course. No two holes are the same and you will get to use every club in your bag. Will play again.

Excellent layout!
Heavy rain made it cart paths only, greens in excellent shape, lot of elevation change. Challenging but still fun. Will return!

I'm not sure how or why someone who thinks this course 'plays like a link course' would be playing from the tips. This course is NOTHING like a links course. Yes, it can get windy sometimes but that doesn't have anything to do with course layout.
