Crane Creek Reserve Golf Course at Melbourne

The course is improving daily. They had problems with greens but, are turning the corner finally. The new personnel have made a great difference in the conditions. GolfNow has been a blessing for me and others that we are on a limited budget. THANKS!!!

A number of Greens are under repair. Still it is a bargain and not to crowded. No delay in Tee Time.

A nice open course with some challenging wholes. I would like to see more drinking water stations around the course. The greens were a little slow but rolled good.

Courteous staff. Make sure you print out your Golf Now reservation as this course is run by the County and they need a copy of it. Golf Now will fax it over but you never know with fax. Overall a great time. Beginner course that is a lot of fun. Cheap beer at the club house.

Good course, you can play pretty fast or do a little practice of your game. Overall not a bad course for the golf now price. Wouldn't pay full price!

GREENS WERE MOSTLY IN TERRIBLE SHAPE A LOT OF BARE AND ROUGH WILL NOT PLAY FOR AWHILE. A LOT OF ROUGH AREAS THAT HAD BEEN MOWED AND HAD CLUMPS OF DEAD GRASS BALLS WERE HARD TO FIND IN IT.

The fairways and tee boxes are in really good condition for the price you pay, however the greens are spotty. Due to the problems with the greens, they are forced to cut them high so they are on the slow side

The course and employees needs attention. Greens are very bad, fairways and tee boxes are OK. Staff needs a MAJOR attitude adjustment.

fairly easy course, wide fairways not a lot of areas to get in trouble in. greens were a little dried out but ok.

What a shame. Another community course that is falling to low budgets or a nobody cares attitude.
I went back to play this course after a 5-6 year layoff. After the second hole I was so aggravated that both and most of the greens played were almost un- putt-able that I stopped putting.
The course needs help.

All green surfaces were suspect and several were downright embarrassing. I'm not sure what the issue was as it has been rainy in the area. Several fairways had ruts and rough areas were very boggy in low lying areas on several holes. The course layout was ok. A great beginner/tune up course.

greens sanded and aerated but does not show on golf now. seems like info being withheld

We found out when we go there that 9 holes were closed for aerification and had to play the back 9 twice. Many of the rough areas had not been mowed in a long time. Some greens are in poor condition. Fairways were nice.

Course was in bad condition and add in the nonfriendly staff and u come up wth a place u never wanna visit again and for me and the 2 other guys i played wth thats a for sure...!

I arrived for my tee time and had my resevation/conformation saved on my smart phone, the course attendant who was taking the payment told me i must have a printed version of the confermation, " because the city is compaining that they are not keeping records of the payments." they said he would have to go print a copy himself and that he did't like doing that! In my opinion that at the start of every day the employee of the course should print all copies of golf now tee times/confermations and have them ready and availible for the customer who pre paid for this service, this is the only course that i have had this inconveinence. i use golf exclusively so this was a dissapointment.

An easy course to play. Open with a few water hazards. Good value for golfnow special.

Crane Creek had recently airated and top dressed their greens so it was hard to tell their condition. This is not a particularly challenging course but still a plesent experience.

Price, thru golf now was very good rate. Course was in good shape, had a few areas that needed work.
Was fairly easy course to play, has quite a few trees and water, made for a bit of trouble.. But I would play it again .
