Trump National Doral Miami - Golden Palm Course
About
The Golden Palm Course (formerly known as Gold Course) is one of five 18-hole courses at the Trump National Doral Miami. The courses offer a variety of golfing options to accommodate players of any skill level. The Golden Palm Course has a traditional Floridian layout that features subtly contoured greens and narrow fairways that are lined with trees. There is also strategic bunkering throughout as well as water hazards that come into play on 16 of the 18 holes. The golf course has a notable finishing hole that has an island green. In addition to the five courses, Trump National Doral Miami is also home to a noted golf school.

Course condition
Some tee boxes need some work. Driving range pretty beat up..overall the course is ok. Seems like they are having issues with growing grass in some areas. The gold course was cart path only and we were booked on Gold.
Not worth the money
Range has no grass. Cheap balls with cuts and scuffs. Greens on gold course just ok. Too many ball marks and shoe scuffs. Tee boxes in poor shape for high end resort course. There are too many public courses in better shape at half the cost. Valet too slow and $20 to park. The golf carts are very nice. Pace of play was slow today but last month when I played was only 3 hours. You can tell it is a Trump course. They need a new owner who knows more about the hospitality industry.
Keeping golf great
Everything about this course and experience was top notch. We even ran into PGA pro John Daly while there. Very challenging course with a tough layout. Amazing deal with golf pass.
A different layout
the 'red Tiger' is a fun course to play; it has 6 par 3's, 6 par 4's and 6 par 5's; well manicured. plenty of water; a good challenge for any skill level
Always Good!
I love to play the Trump courses. The conditions, layouts, etc. provide ample of fun and challenges. It's pricey so once you see a good deal, take it and enjoy the fun playing at the courses.
Exceeded expectations
I played this course for the first time and I got to play on New Year's day. It was perfect because, there weren't many people on the course, so they actually let me play as a single. Golden Palm is a Links style course with a lot of water hazards. I lost at least three balls in the water, so if you play the Palm, make sure your shot striking and accuracy are solid. The first few holes were pretty lengthy, especially from the blues. The tees, fairways and greens were in immaculate condition. The greens were tough, I had two or three instances that I had to work real hard for a triple putt. Pro tip, make sure to know where to land the ball on the green, because I sure didn't. Having played Silver Fox, Red Tiger and Golden Palm. It's toss up as to which one's better, since they're all uniquely different. I say play all three, they're all three worth the try.
Embarrassing conditiions
Absolutely horrible conditions. Actually punished for being in the fairway. The fairways were nonexistent. Like playing off of mud. More dirt than grass. You needed to roll it to the rough to get a decent lie. Embarasssing conditions for a course of this caliber. It should not be open for play. Go play two 9s at Greynolds Park. Save your money and play on a course in better condition. Disgusted.
Best course in Doral
What a course!!! I am looking forward to come back. Great experience, awesome course, everything was great. Only thing is that the range is still closed, different from other courses I have played lately.
Great course
Great layout and challenging. Beautiful course. Easy to forget you’re in the middle of a busy area of Miami.
Great course, just lots of rain lately
Greens were perfect and fairways were well maintained, just a little wet from all the rain lately. Bunkers need some attention but that’s also due to the rain and not the courses fault. Layout is super fun
Only gripe is that the bunkers were not raked so they were extremely inconsistent. Love the course and will be back soon.
Be careful with hot deals
Unfortunately the course was closed due to severe weather the day before and Golfnow will not return the funds and making it difficult to contact them.
Very hard
I’m a bogey golfer to begin with and if u are don’t expect bogey golf it is very hard. It’s not uncommon to hit a perfect drive and end up with doubles and triples. Very hard around greens with sand and water protecting throughout the course. That being said it’s well maintained so no issues there. I would say it’s for skilled golfers who can work the ball and know how to spin it cause shots that may be required are over traps to a shallow green with water behind
Top Courses
Trump courses are best public's I have played in South Florida. All 4 are great.
Slow play
Slow playSadly this resort has beautiful golf courses but no Rangers and every hole for two days in a row was a wait at the Teebox even after talking to employees nothing changed
Great course in good condition
Course was great. The practice facilities are excellent. Was able to play the course for free with GplfPass+
