Great Experience
This was my first time out this spring and connected with a long time client & friend. We were greeted by Bob with a smile and some course wisdom, as the view of the perfectly blue sky greeted us on tee box #1. As we approached the #18 tee box, bag pipes serenaded our arrival to the 18 green -- very cool vibe. The round was not the best performed, but between the weather and the hospitality, we both left The Tribute with a smile and a warm heart for the time spent. Would highly recommend. this course and facility.
Cool experience
This course is a cool experience and made even more “Scotland like” by the three club wind. I don’t know if that is the norm around here but it made for a tough but fun day. Looks like they did a pretty good job replicating the hole layouts.
Disappointed
I've heard and read so much about this course over the years and never got that far north to play it. I finally got the chance and was disappointed. The back 9 was closed for bridge repairs.
Missing information
Course was fine except that we were note informed that the back 9 was closed for repair. Played the front 9 twice. Felt we were totally deceived by GolfNow and the course about the situation. Found out from the starter on the first tee.
Unique course
Definitely feels Old World.. I had a great deal - hot deal plus some coupons - cost me $8 - normally 129 on weekends at the time I played so can't complain
would I pay normal price? - no way...thats too steep for me. I did enjoy course = challenging... - cart girl showed up at least 6 times...I will play again but for nothing over 50 ...
Good times at The Tribute
The course is in great winter condition. No real issues to address. I highly recommend playing here whenever you have the chance. Staff is is extremely friendly.
Still a nice course
Course in great shape for this time of year. Cold and wind made it feel like a links course across the pond. Staff was extremely friendly.. Discount tee fee's made it even better.
Fun on the Links
I've played a few courses that have a few "links" style holes, but playing a proper links style course was really fun. 25+mph winds, cold and wet...felt a lot like playing in Scotland. Will come back here as much as I can afford it. Tough greens, great fairways, tee boxes in decent shape.
Great course condition
Amazing turf and green. Real links course with much European flavor.
I would love to come back here in autumn where I can feel more links feeling.
Tournament ready
It’s in the best shape I’ve seen it. The LPGA is coming so this is a great time to play it.
Great Course, Good Condition
The course was in very good condition. Greens had been recently punched, but were almost back to perfect. Definitely worth the price when fees are below the rack rate, but I certainly wouldn’t rate it as worthy of $129.
Well maintained and classic layout
Pros: The course is very well manicured and forgiving for misses. The design is wide open which helps speed up play because players spend less time looking for balls. If you’re a big golf fan you’ll recognize several of the holes on this course.
Cons: Cost can be prohibitive unless you play weekdays or late in the day on weekends. For $130, you can play much nicer and more exclusive clubs. It’s always windy here because it’s right on the lake.
Bang for your dollar!
Best bang for the money since moving to Dallas! For $30 on Golf Now it is a great deal. Tees, fairways, greens, and bunkers in Excellent condition!
