Poor starter’s attitude
A starter at red tiger course has poor attitude at checking in process (I wouldn’t name him) and l wasted my pre play practice time. All other staffs were very helpful for a first comer.
red tiger
Beautiful course/range and professional and helpful staff. well worth it at $98 but wont pay more than $125. We had dinner afterwards and it was excellent.
Be prepared to pay $20 valet fee.
Disappointing
For the price, I found the golf course staff at pro shop and starter rude and actually bothered the customer was there. A group of 5 was ahead us and slow.
Red Tiger is fun!!
Great staff, great amenities, from the practice range to the greens the course is in super condition. Overall great fun!
Fun course. Greens are the challenge
Fun golf course, and a brute when the wind is up. Greens are tough, especially when you are approaching from wrong side of fairway. You can score if your putter gets hot. Par 5s are the best feature -six of em!!!
smooth
course was in great shape. just a tad of sand still on the greens from maintenance which i thought would not be in december. but the fairways were in great shape, tee boxes, fringe, rough all well kept.
Incredible staff
The staff was incredible from the valet to the giftshop I never felt out of my element even though I was. I’ve played some high priced courses and this was by far the most easy going place I’ve played. The course was very well taken care of and with all of the water and sand it played pretty difficult but had enough room to where it was still enjoyable. We never had a group pushing us and we were never waiting on anyone. Overall phenomenal time.
Impressive Grounds and Course Conditions
I played in a special event, so only cost me $63. I often see rates online for this course at $150, so I judged value based on that ($150) and not what I paid.
Obviously, as a golf resort, the grounds and amenities are top-notch. The course was in excellent conditions, although some of the aprons on the greens were a little dried out, but the greens themselves were perfect.
There was a super slow group in front of us, but I never saw a player assistant say anything to them. Although it was going to be a slow round anyways, with cart path only as course was soaked from previous days/week rain.I guess course doesn't drain that well.
I understand that carts have GPS, but since I couldn't take carts on course, I used range finder, but could never shoot the pint because it doesn't have reflectors. Never understood why all courses don't have flags with reflectors.
The course layout is interesting. It definitely makes for a more cerebral game (in terms of sot selection, etc.). Weird to play a course 5900 yards long with a 200 yard Par 3.
In summary, course was a steal at $63, but certainly not worth the advertised rate of $150 IMO. Not many golf courses are though.
Great Doral Course, Twilight, Hot and Humid!
My girlfriend and I played Red Tiger on a Saturday afternoon, and the starter offered us the ability to jump ahead of two foursomes, so we jumped at that! We played the front 9 in just over an hour, and enjoyed it! Finally caught up to a twosome ahead of us, and they were slowed by a threesome ahead of them - but overall, we finished in about 3 hours, which was great. The course was in great shape, although they had some rain in the previous couple days. We tried to avoid some of the lower, wet areas - although I was disappointed to see that some of the golfers ahead of us had not - and tore up some of the well-groomed turf. Sad to see! The rest of the course was in great shape, the flowers and trees were well landscaped and it was a great round other than the humidity and the "slower" back 9. Highly recommend.
Ggggrrrrreeeeaaaatttt!
Short and tight, with plenty of strategically-placed bunkers and sneaky water hazards, the Red Tiger course also was in mint condition as I sailed through a stimulating solo round dulled slightly by a threesome who refused to let me play through the last six holes. No matter. The Hot Deal was worth 45 beans and with Blue Monster still healing from recent refurbishment and Golden Palm just punched, the Red was a choice pick. My driver was seldom needed, but smart course management was always required. Michael, the starter, was friendly, professional and most helpful re knowledge of the courses.. Cart attendants were efficient, as was pro shop staffer. Beverage cart service was spotty, but Champions Bar & Grill served up a delicious, reasonably-priced ahi tuna salad and creme brulee.

Summer rates are fantastic, treated like royalalty. Greens were a bit spotty, only a couple, great speed and top notch like any course of Trumps. Makes golf great again
Trump Red Tiger
Course was great, not super challenging, but not the best conditions. Fairways were super thick and the greens were covered in sand, thick sand... wouldn’t say that with those conditions that the cost would correlate greatly too. But the resort and the grounds in total were beautiful. Would definitely recommend the resort and the grounds, maybe not that specific course
Sanded the greens and didn’t tell us
This golf course is beautiful and it is a must when visiting Miami.
Just make sure you ask before booking if they have sanded the greens because they don’t tell you and they won’t give you a discount.
My Favorite Doral Course So Far
One of my favorite courses in the Miami area. If you can stand the humidity, definitely try and take advantage of the off season pricing on Golf Now. My favorite aspect of this course was that each whole never repeated the previous par (i.e. you’d never see two par 3, 4, or 5’s in a row). Loved the layout and the conditions were great. I still have two more of the Doral courses to play, but I definitely want to get back on this course at some point soon.
Must to play there.
My friends and I played at Red Tiger and have had very good experience.
We will come back in the future to play at another one there.
Beautiful golf courses and big Pro Shop.
Thank you.
