PAR for the Coyrse
Great day of Golf. Greens were in good shape and fairways were good length. Sand traps are dirt but just stay out of them!
Second time playing the same course
Thought I booked to play the South course this time but it was the same course I played the last time I played here. Nothing much had improved from the first time I played. Course needs more work to be chraging these kind of money. Next time I’ll make sure that I book a tee time on the other course. No cart service for the entire round. I was practically dehydrated because the weather is getting warmer.
Horrible shape
Unfortunately, the course was almost unplayable. The ball was sitting down in the fairway grass it was so long and if you missed a fairway, you lost your ball. There’s no reason it shouldn’t have been mowed by now.
It’s okay
Second time playing the same course. Thought I booked a round for the South Course but it’s actually the North Course which I played before. Marshall was good enough to let us tee off about 15 minutes ahead of our scheduled tee time. There wasn’t much improvement from the last time I played. Cart paths are pretty bumpy. No beverage cart during our entire game. Now that the warm weather is upon us, it should be mandatory for these type of service. We finished our round under four hours, which was the only highlight of our day.
Another round on the south course
Giving how much rain sonoma county has received recently this course played well and green were in good shape!
One of the top courses in the North Bay
Great course
Foxtail golf course is a great course and I usually play the North as it is kept up a bit better, but both courses are fun and challenging.
Nice course, fair, good condition.
The greens have healed from the punching a couple of weeks ago. The course was very lush, made the rough sticky to extricate from at times.
Good track
This time out the weather was perfect. There were only two negatives. One- the greens were aerated a week ago so very bumpy and slow. Two- the bunkers were hard-packed dirt with grass growing. Fixing these must be in the works. Otherwise a good, fun, playable track.
Worst conditions I have seen on the south course. They have let this place go. Doesn’t look like any maintenance has been done. Don’t waste your money. Won’t be going back.
Nice layout but prucey
I’ve been playing Foxtail for years but that may come to an end soon. Its $85 through Golf now on the weekends for a single player. It’s not worth that. I can’t book on the phone or on their website as a single. If I go with a friend it’s $60. Paying another $25 for this course isn’t worth it. Other course allow single player tee times to be made at a better price
Foxtail North is a Good Track
Fairways are decent, but the greens are rather soft and slow at this time. The bunkers need a lot of work/repair. The staff is friendly/helpful and pace of play is generally good (especially during week days)..
