About
The Silver Fox Course (formerly known as Jim McLean Course) is one of five 18-hole courses at Trump National Doral Miami. The courses offer a good game for players of any skill level. Unlike the Gold Course at the resort, the Silver Fox Course does not follow a traditional Floridian layout. There are elevated tee boxes and greens and narrow, rolling fairways. The golf course features an interesting variety of holes, short and long. Water hazards come into play on 16 holes of the 18 holes and there are also bunkers situated throughout. The course's signature hole is the 14th, which has an island green.

Hardest course i ever played from the tips.
The course was fair but tough on all shots. Even well placed fairway shots required above average skills to get close to the pins. Greens were very smooth and rolled true to tour speeds. Loved the entire round, will be back soon.

Excellent course and a great facility. A fantastic place to spend time with family or friends. I’ll be back soon.
Awesome greens
Expensive, but all of Doral’s courses are in perfect condition. Silver course has a lot of water, but is still one of my favorites. The greens don’t get any better.
Slow
The silver(old Mclean) course is great, pace of play awful.
We understand COVID, butvthey need rangers on course...awful sliw

Greens were lightening
Fun environment and awesome property. The conditions were not amazing. The greens are in great shape, and super fast. Course layout was average, some holes were a lot of fun and some were rather boring.
Staff was horrible and greens just as bad…
I don’t usually write reviews , but I have to on this one… I’m a 10 handicap and member at biltmore where staff treats you nice and course is maintained … the silver was complete opposite … staff was mean and stuck up and greens were trash… not worth the money, I don’t care how much you got, pay to play somewhere else
Poor conditions
Greens were not playable, don’t waste your money here.
Fun time
Nice course - pretty good challenge. Front nine lulls you to sleep and the back nine hits hard. I would recommend.
