About
Opened in 1978, Flamingos Gofl Club was the first golf course in the Bay of Banderas and it has since become a local favorite. The course sprawls across a landscape covered with over 1,500 palm trees. There are also hundreds of different trees, including parota and eucalyptus, that frame the challenging greens. The narrow, subtle sloped fairways provide scenic paths that weave through the natural lagoons, estuaries, and marshes. There are nine water hazards and over 40 bunkers that come into play throughout the golf course. The layout will test your target golf skills and good strategizing will be greatly rewarded, which includes not only your ball placement on the fairways but also proper club selection, especially on the holes that are more affected by the strong coastal breezes.

course under repair (being aerated)
Course was being aerated and had to play back 9 twice. Was advised by GolfNow well after the tee time was booked and paid for, tried to change it via e-mail but never received a reply. Did not have access to a phone which i think is the only way to contact them. If they contacted me by e-mail, why can't they reply to mine?
Not taking care of golfers
Cost of golf balls was ridiculous. Should have brought my own. Rental clubs in very bad shape. Beat up. Finally had a beer girl come around on the 16th hole. Needs a lot of shaping up. Would recommend somewhere else. Have been treated a lot better by top courses state side. Cost of balls was 60 US for Bridgesones.
Challenging Value
Course was in decent shape. Some challenging tee shots with some narrow fairways. Pace of play was good and course flowed well.
Roll the greens!
Nice facility. Interesting layout but the greens are disgraceful. The cobblestone streets are smoother than these greens.

Great golf - staff always looking for tips
Flamingos golf is great and convenient. The staff are a bit pushy and always looking for a tip even if you don't need their help.
Good course with great value.
This course is excellent value and very convenient. The course layout is good and the course is in good shape. The course is a good test of overall golfing skills. The views are good but not spectacular like having ocean or Mountain View.
Great day on the course but is there ever a bad day when you are golfing.
Good value for Mexico
U will loose balls but great value using golf now. Be sure to ask for shuttle back to hotel.
Great value; Enjoyable course.
Flamingos isn't the resort course of your life, but it is a good test of your game on an enjoyable, interesting layout.
The course is in very good/excellent condition; the greens are fast.
Pace of play was tremendous both times I've played. Went around in under 4 hours. Play the tees that best suit your game.
The GolfNow hot deal was a steal.
