Miami Beach Golf Club
About
Originally opened in 1923, Miami Beach golf club was given an $11 million face-lift and reopened in 2002. The result is a championship layout masterfully designed by world-renowned architect Arthur Hills. The course sits quietly nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay, minutes from South Beach and scores of world-class hotels, restaurants.
When you first play this course, you may think it has been designed exclusively for long hitters. Don't worry -- many holes are dogleg designs that allow you to bite off a good portion of the distance with good tee shots. Greens are well bunkered and elevated.
Several beautiful and strategically placed lakes enhance the charm of the course.
The once tired and under-utilized Bayshore has now become the elegant and highly regarded Miami Beach Golf Club.

If you want a 6+ hour round then I welcome you. Pace of play is atrocious and no Marshalls to monitor. Terrible value for what you get. Save your money and move on.
Public course golf
Typical of a public course but nicer. When making a reservation online, they should inform you that you may be paired. That is a basic golf courtesy.
Too slow to be enjoyable
Course was nice and in good condition. The pace of play was brutally slow. After 5:40 minutes we finally finished. I called the clubhouse a few times to see if they could send the ranger to speed up the pace of play. The response I got is that the pace is expected because it’s a public course and they let out 275 golfers that day. When paying 150.00 for the round I expect that the pace of play be managed much better than it was.
SCAM
Awful experience.
I was visiting from out of town on business, and I thought I would try playing a round at the "elegant and highly regarded" Miami Beach Club. I happily paid the non-resident fee for the promised experience, and was assured the course remains open until 8 p.m. for my 5 p.m. tee time. What a joke.
After playing TWO holes my cart was powered down and a broadcast came across the cart screen informing patrons and visitors that carts must be returned and the course was closing due to a ten minute rain shower; no option of waiting it out. Barley twenty minutes into my round I returned to the club house to find my $150 was not honored with a rain-check.
$150. Two holes. Twenty minutes. That the experience the "storied property" is satisfied with offering. This place is a scam.
Please golf now tell us if 9 holes closed and 9 are plugged
This is a high-end semi private course in Miami Beach. I’ve played it a few times. It’s very expensive especially if you’re not a resident. I was in town for the NBA finals and I decided to play it which I did last Tuesday but I was fortunately nine holes were closed and the other nine that were open the greens were plugged, which made it a lot less enjoyable it’s a fantastic layout the practice areas are nice. It has a nice restaurant in pro shop. It’s run by the city I would not say it’s run well the staff could definitely be friendlier. I don’t think they care if you’re there or not because they have a very high demand for players because it’s an A+ location but if you’re gonna spend that much money do you wanna play all 18 holes so hopefully Golf now and the courses will communicate better in the future. I feel like I’m do a refund but I really don’t have time to mess with it.
Course is in great shape, fairways and greens are ideal.
Don’t know what a tee time means
I booked a 940 tee tiime and tee off lateand they made me wait for no apparent reason while the course was completely empty and other people were sitting around waiting with no explanation as to why I was not going out at my assigned teatime. They also had closed there range with no warning beforehand.
