Isla Navidad Country Club - The Ocean Golf Course
The Ocean, Mountain, and Lagoon nines make up the 27-hole golf course at Isla Navidad. Robert Von Hagge designed the entire course. Named after the landscape's defining characteristics, not only does each nine offer a different set of challenges and unique views, each hole also varies greatly from one to the next. The Ocean Course, as its name would suggest, plays right along the Pacific. The Navidad Lagoon, which weaves through the golf course, also appears on a few holes. Besides the water, there are bunkers and contoured mounding strategically placed throughout to contend with. The Ocean nine finishes with a long par 4 that requires a 170-yard carry over water. The lagoon also fiercely guards the green. It is a dramatic and challenging hole that is enhanced by views of the surrounding mountains.
