Poor value for the money
Fairways and rough are cut too short..greens are ok...traps are horrible, no sand and hard-packed...18 hole rate should be around $18.00.
Nice course
Fairways getting brown, needs water, Greens real good fairly fast, good pin placement.
Had to wait a bit on first 3 holes but then opened up and rate of play was good. Well designed course, well maintained, Will definitely play again.
Course was not well kept
I asked to walk the course and apparently that is not aloud... Course was inconsistent a little money put in would go a long way. Greens didn't roll true. Not the biggest fan of the course lay out either. For the price I guess it was okay but there are better course for under $25.
A nice, low-pressure course to take a beginner!
Imperial Lakes CC has a wonderful and attentive staff and it was a great, low-pressure environment to take someone who is just starting out. For those reasons, I gave it two stars. It is very evident by the facility's conditions that the ownership no longer wants or has money to invest in the grounds and facility. Each tee box is a mess of divots, there is little differentiation between the fairway and rough, and the carts need basic maintenance. This course could be a blast, and I do not want my comments above to reflect on the day to day staff. The layout is fun, but the clubs entire infrastructure needs major (millions of dollars) in investment to be brought up to par. That said, the people are great, the price is right, and the layout is fun, especially for a beginner.
Older course in need of a lot of attention. Greens ok
golf course loks on its way out. worth the $25 but other than the greens very poor condition, but playable. Place in nice neighborhood but looks like its not getting any support. Loved pace of play nobody else on course.
very good for the price.
fairway grass is rather brown, but the course is well desined and fun to play. The greens are well maintained. We've been playing here for last two weeks straight.
Short course not much trouble
The Greens are very slow.
Some of the t-boxes had almost no grass.
Most of the fairways were going dorment.
Not worth the low price
Even though I hate dissing courses, this one is not worth your time even at the low rate of $18 with a cart. No grass on tees at all, fairways drying out, greens ok. I too, think this course is on it's way out, unless they pick up the maintenance and start watering! Sorry!
Great except for pro shop staff
Worth everypenny it cost me to play. Only complaint would be pro shop attendant was not very welcoming Won't likely be back because of it. :(
Decent course 10-12 yrs ago, now in disrepair.
1:00 Tee time w/ buddy. Had it not been a Hot Deal price for this round, would have felt ripped off. Tee boxes, fairways, roughs, bunkers, & greens in sad shape. As I remember, the fairway on the Par 5, 15th hole, had nothing but weeds, mud, & ant hills. The cart paths are crumbling. Battery powered carts are old. It's a shame because it has a nice layout. Even the Pro Shop is minimal. Not even a logo cap to sell. I will play this course again when i hear someone has bought it & is bringing it back up to par.
Haven't played this course since 11/2011 & it has gotten a little bit better, not much. It's a shame, the lay out is really cool. Fairways are slightly plusher & all the construction is gone. Pro shop still w/ bare minimum merchandise, still no logo caps, only 1 last logo visor.
