a fun track
Course needs some work but at this time of the year every course needs work. If you play winter rules everywhere on the course there are no problems. Had a bonus playing here because my partner had a hole in one. That will definitely bring us back. Another bonus - the hot dogs in the clubhouse.
This course is Great and all the staff there are real friendly
Nicest place in town. Real wide fairway. Great space between players. Just had a great time there and wife loved it too.
Course has nice layout
I played off back tees. I played well. My focus was on my irons 5-sw. overall pretty consistent for me. It is considered winter months so the condition was not great, but the layout challenges you. greens were true. Overall, happy.
Nice challenge from tips, but needs TLC
Always a challenge to break par on this course, last 5 holes tough to negotiate.
Greens are putting true, good speed.
Fairways and rough, weedy but maintained.
Once great course, somewhat forgotten. But a good bargain all year long
This course was close to the house
Myself & girlfriend played this course for the first time. There were no white tees. We enjoyed the course but they also need to do some maintenance. Some of the tee boxes had ant mounds and some were really sandy. Good value for what we paid.
Looks and plays like a course that was played alot all winter and it is still fall.
Grass was very thin and tight lies abounded. Greens rolled quite well despite sandy spots on the greens. The course has a great layout, but much work needs to be done. Will I play it again this year? I likely will, but I hope the condition improves. Some fertilizer and weed and ant killer would definitely improve the playing conditions.
COURSE NEEDS MAJOR TLC
Condition of course requires major TLC. It looks like the only thing they are doing is taking care of the greens. The greens were ok. The tee boxes and fairways are like hitting out of a bunker. Basically no grass...only thing green is the weeds. Really unfortunate because the layout is pretty good and challenging. I only payed $7 to play with a cart and honestly that is all it is worth. It worked well for us because we had someone in our group that had never played so it was good for that situation. Clubhouse is in terrible shape and staff is basically non-existent.
overall the course needs some love but the greens were rolling real nice.
I have always liked this course but it's not being kept up. The driving range was closed it looked to be in bad shape, I hope they get the course back up to par
Course looks run down
The price should have been $15 not 25 $.The course is in horrible shape, grass not mowed, tee bx has more dirt than grass. If I was golf now I would take this course OFF YOUR LIST....ridiculous.
Worst course I've ever played.
If there weren't 2 cars in the parking lot when I pulled up, I would've thought this course was abandoned from appearance, that or a landfill. I would never play here or recommend this course to anyone again.
have to pay me to go back
Course in major disrepair, cart paths are basically gone, such a shame for a once fine course layout. Clubhouse is just shameful.
Good value
The guy I talked to at the counter of the pro-shop was a jerk
some holes do have a degree of difficulty
The course overall is relatively easy to play. Gives the option to use a variety of clubs for course management.
The course lacks basic maintenance.. Greens horrible… traps full of weeds
The course lacks basic maintenance.. Greens horrible… traps full of weeds....
not in bad shape
Not in bad shape especially when compared to others in the area. Golf Now price was lowest I have paid in years
Nice Course Layout. Needs major maintaining work! (like grass).
Course has an excellent layout, and can be challenging. The course is in dire need of upkeep, as the fairways and greens were burned out, the sand traps were very hard, and had weeds growing in them.
The cost of play is very reasonable, but there are other courses in the area that are in better playing shape for similar fees.
Maintain the course. Get it in playable conditons for the average and above golfer, and this course can be a gem in central Florida.
THE COURSE IS CHALLENGING
GOOD COURSE ...GREENS NEED SOME WORK. WITH RAIN COMING IN SHOULD HELP COURSE..
Don't waste your time and money. This course is in terrible shape.
To GolfNow. You should take this course off your site. It is terrible and gives you a bad taste from people who book it. It was cheaper at the golf course then on your site anyway. they have some serious water and tee box plus greens problems. I will never play again there. Worst course I played in Florida.
Great layout very poorly maintained
20-25 years ago Imperial Lakes was probably a joy to play. It's rumored that after the original owner was murdered in Tampa the bank took it over and it was never cared for properly since. In time the course will be so barren as to be pretty much unplayable but in the meantime the attractive greens fees keep it going...barely. We will play there from time-to-time and hope someone with "deep pockets" comes along to bring the course back to a semblance of its early condition. Sadly, we doubt that will happen anytime soon.
