Had Fun.
Course was fun. The rough was considerably long. Balls get lost easily. Had Fun. Great day with my son .
Eh
I was really bummed when I found out that the price listed as a 22% discount listed on golf now was in fact the twilight discount. I could have just shown up paid the same price I did pay and saved myself the booking fee. I'm a fifteen handicap I shot three over for 9 holes. Tough to get excited about a course this easy. The facilities are great, huge range, great practice greens, two 9 hole courses and an 18 as well. The 18 hole course is the way to go if your looking for a challenge, but the 9 holes are fine if your on a budget. The pro (super) shop is unreal. Lots of stuff that you never knew you absolutely needed until you saw it.
The course was a little rough because they had just punched the tee boxs and punched & sanded the greens.
Would play the course again later in the year after the punching of tee boxs and greens had healed up, plus it had rained the day before I played, so it was a little soft, no run out on tee shots.
Great rate for 9 holes.
My wife and I played the front 9 of the Arcade Creek course. We were able to play as a twosome, which was perfect for us as my wife is a beginner and therefore we didn't hold up the pace of play for anyone else. The course is wide and well used since it's a public course.
Maybe the best finishing hole in Sacramento area
This is a public course, but they offer everything you could want and do a great job providing it. The course is well kept, amazing considering how busy this course is. 24 hr driving range, massive pro shop with every type of service and two 18 hole courses. Very professional friendly staff `and reasonable prices at the bar.
I love this course
The Value is always great, i love walking this course
good Track for a muni, flat but good bunkering.
The McKenzie course is the real challenge here, 18 holes with a few twists thrown in. The arcade side is standard valley golf, flat and straight but maintained very well over the last few years. It's the deal of the two if price drives your choice.
Poor conditions.
The greens keeping crew here is not made of professionals. I have seen them cut oval holes in greens and drop the cup in leaving a gap. The greens all have dead areas and many of the fairways as well. Fairways are now being soaked to fix this and your feet sink in when walking in many areas. Prices are a bit high as you can play Ancel or Bing Malony in the afternoon for the price of 9 holes at Arcade. Management needs to hire the right crew and drop the price a little to get people back. ( I literally used to play here every day )
