This is not your local muni.
This golf course is really nice. No driving range but the nicest 4 bay hit into a net I've ever seen.
The course is by no means long. However if you hit a lousy shot left or right you will pay for it.
The greens are absolutely beautiful. They are fast and smooth.
The staff was frankly a mixed bag. This is a gated community. The first interaction with the guard at the gate was less than welcoming. The pro shop and bag drop staff were great. The pro shop even lent a putter to one of my playing partners when hers broke.
Guys, this is not the club to show up looking like your going out to gym class in high school. Plan on having a collared shirt and standard golf shorts. They will request that you tuck in your shirt if they see that it's not.
Bottom line, for $45 on Golfnow this is the deal of the century.
Great little course
We thoroughly enjoyed our round at Glen Eagle and the course is in top condition. The only complaint would be the pace of play at 4 1/4 hours for a relatively short course.
Naples Guy
The course was in meticulous shape. You can easily put from the fairway. Well worth it. I'm playing again tomorrow.
Pace of play was terrible. Group of 4 in front of us was way too slow. Nobody in front of them for 3 holes. A Ranger would be nice
Great Greens
We really enjoyed our game if golf yesterday. The course was in great shape and the greens were really good. What an opportunity to play! Excellent value. We’ll be back.
Unwelcome
The course was in great shape. It was a little bit awkward in spots because of the layout and length (a shorter course seemingly built to fit into a tight space), but it was well manicured and taken care of. The reason I wouldn't recommend it was due to the staff - it was my first experience feeling unwelcome at a golf club. I golf a few times a week and I'm not sure if it was due to having a HotDeal or if the gentlemen in the Pro Shop was just having a bad day, but with so many other options nearby I wish I'd have paid a few more bucks and gone elsewhere.
Great condition. Great value.
Course was in great shape for this late in the season. It’s May, so fewer players; course was wide open.
