Marina Vallarta Golf Club

Have played 3 different PV courses over the years vacationing here. Marina Vallarta is convenient to our place in the Romantic Zone. Don't have to go out to Nuevo Vallarta. Marina Vallarta is a nice course.

The golf course is very nice with some challenging holes. Water hazards are very challenging to work around but quite doable. I'm not a long hitter and needed to do some course management.

The only disappointment came from the sand traps. They were very hard and was unable to get under the ball in order to do short side shots.

Very Very slow 3 1\2 hours for 10 holes. We left the course after 10 holes.

this was by far the worse course by shape of fairways and greens of all the courses we played in PV ..sand traps were gross and unplayable ..tee boxes were half decent ..fairways and greens were just bad ..I have played it more than six times in past and will not play next time in PV ..

Fun course with good views but we followed a tournament and couldn’t finish the round

I played twilight time. The rate is 69USD. According to my app that translates to 1152 pesos, not 1310. I don't appreciate being charged an extra 158 pesos. I would like compensation for the overpayments of the 4 twilight times I played.

This is a nice course, very challenging sometimes too challenging. Most important things bring lots of balls with you and play the right tee box for your game. See too many people (men) think they should play white or blue tees, this course seems to play big, longer than you think, lots of water, with crocodiles, lots of sand traps, however it isn’t really sand. Time for them to invest some money in the traps. Staff are great, backshop guys are the best, please tip them.

Did not appreciate your o return policy. I was refused to return over priced golf balls

One previous reviewer put it succinctly: this course is “meh.” The layout is challenging, probably the best part about it. The course conditions are reminiscent of a low-end municipal course. The staff is indifferent, and the amenities - again, think low-end muni. We played Vista Vallerta (Nicklaus) a few days prior. Honestly, save your money and play that course. It is in amazing condition and the amenities match the price.

We stayed across the street at the Marriot resort. This course was a perfect morning activity. The grass was a little dry and bare in spots on the fairways, but the course was fun and challenging. Real water hazards, given the crocs! Lots of other wildlife, too.

We had a good time but had to be behind a five some for which the Marshall said nothing can be done it’s just gonna be a looong round. Course was fun otherwise.

Pace of play was terrible. 25 minute wait on some hole. Should be a sign to let smaller groups or faster play players through. Nice course for the money, but if you plan to play 18 holes be ready for 5 to 6 hours .

You have to ask for your clubs to be cleaned after play. They cater more to the members. We live there permanently but don’t feel like we have to ask for everything

We had a wonderful time and round of golf. The service and entire staff was exceptional. The course offers tee options for all golfers. You may even see a croc or two near the water.
