Worth the Drive
Eagle Lakes is way out east where Tamiami Trail turns into a two lane road...but its worth driving out that far to play it. The staff was very friendly and accomodating and the $48 greens fee through Golf Now was a good bargain for this course in November.
The layout was a good challenge, with water on every hole, yet there was ample landing areas which makes it a reasonable course for both low and high handicappers. The farways are a bit spotty in some places but the greens were in impeccable shape though a bit on the slow side.
All in all a wonderful experience.
Didn’t live up to expectations
This was our 12 th course in 12 days. The reviews brought me to this course but I was disappointed
The course design was great however the course needs some revitalization
Weeds in greens and fairways
Greens were shaggy and slow
T decks were very tired to say the least
I would consider playing this as a tune up course but only if it were below $40
Sorry, just being honest
Not in great shape.
the course was challenging but was not in good condition. Staff was friendly and helpful.
really, really bad shape for any price. Greens had massive sand on them (top dressing half done?) to the point of being ridiculous.
This is a short course near the entrance to Marco Island. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
Fairly nice shape, lots of water, alligators and a bald eagle makes playing this course very interesting.
Pace of play was SLOW but over all it was an enjoyable round.
A giant lake with some patches of turf
Difficult layout, tons of water. Fairways where practically side by side, grass had too many weeds. Some local knowledge would have helped. No cart girl, no food in the restaurant and no interest in preparing any. Bring lots of balls. My last time playing here.
nice place to play
The course is really nice to play, we like it.
I'm a Hcpt 18 Player and I thing it's challenging.
I like the water around this course.
The maintenance of the course and the staff is very friendly.
I like this place!
Lots of water
As always there was lots of water. The greens had not been cut and were very slow and heavy
Nice Course for the Money!
Grip it and rip it! Long holes, wide open tee shots and greens are on the flat side. The course is very acceptable if you’re looking to get out and play at an affordable price. Very nice maintained sand bunkers.
The greens were in decent shape and rolled true. The rest of the course was a disappointment. Faiways were not cut correctly and sand traps had different types of sand.
Played for the price of a cart fee. Course in average shape. Greens on the slow side. Layout uninspiring. Friendly staff.
Eagle lakes is an enjoyable course. Fairways pretty wide open. Some water trouble if you don’t know where you are going. Staff is alway very friendly.
Nice layout - poor condition
Was excited after seeing the course online and on 18 birdies . But in person was a great disappointment. Lame driving range all the way through Green‘s that were running at about six on the stemp meter. Fairways ranged from decent to not having been cut in quite a few days. Surprising.
Cart path only very wet but overall nice course good value at $25
