Greens recovering from recent aeration; fairways cut short.

Fewer players mean 3 hours to play 18 holes. Reduced staff is attentive, but no on course marshal is needed or visible. The divot mix that was missing is now sand and abundantly available on carts.

Greens aerated late July, but playable

Course conditions are very good this time of year. Invasive grass species such as crabgrass are kept cut short. Rough is about 1 to 2 inch higher than Fairways. Some newly introduced extremely long grasses bordering Fairways and in some cases in Fairways has been tamed so that the grasses are no longer 12 in long but rather closer to 3 or 4 in. Pace of play on the day I played was about 3 hours to complete a round. There is no Ranger visible. Golfers and the course would be better served if divot mix or sand was provided on each cart.

Good

Always enjoy it here. What I call cheap and cheerful. We paid $75 for 3 of us all in via Golfnow, so for $25 each, you can't complain. Back nine holes are a bit samey but hey, it never pretended to be Augusta National. Hope to come back again, very enjoyable and friendly staff.

Course was just ok

Not many golfers playing this time of year. Cart paths need work. Greens were good but slow. Pace of play was excellent finished in 3 hours. Course was closing next day for aeration.

Had a Blast

It was a long drive to get down there from Bonita, but worth it. My first time there and would like to have had a map of the course on the scorecard, but was able to keep tabs of the threesome in front of me enough to know where to go next. The diagram of each hole on the card left me in doubt as to where some of the greens were until after my first shot.

Greens and fairways in good shape

Greens aerated in late June but in good shape and running smoothly when I played. Fairways were cut short so crab grass that invaded was not much of a playing issue. There were some uncut mounds with nearly 12" long grasses that were big hazards in several fairways starting with #1. Pace of play was fast at about 3 hours, but I played as a single. I wish the club had divot mix or sand to fill fairway divots, but maybe lack of divot fill material speeded up play.

Driving Range course

I’ve played this course several times and it’s current condition is more like a Driving range experience. Hit shots u want to practice but don’t expect to score well. All fairways have been treated so they appear to be dead with little to no green grass in sight. Bunkers not raked and almost unplayable unless u like hard pan. Greens were aerated about 3 weeks ago and they were very rough and slow, guaranteed 2 putts / green then pick up and move on. Currently a great place to practice but you will not walk away with a good golf experience at this time. Give it another month & hopefully it will again be the course I always enjoy playing. Definitely not worth more than a $20 bucket of balls at this time.

Great little course

Would have been a 4 1/2 stars but sandy and bumpy greens were common, maybe it was just that day. Will come back, they had nice layout a few gators laying around and i lost only 1 sleeve of balls. Sent me out early with a 2 and a 1 because someone cancelled. Water provided and restrooms every few holes were very helpful. I liked the staffs courtesy which was nice.
