Great golf course
I am sad that this was my first and last time to play this course for now because I am moving. It is an excellent course and very fun. Would recommend it.
Danny
The course is a really fun round. There are only 9 holes. So, if you are playing 18 then you go through the course twice. Everything was in good condition, nothing fancy, but well kept. All-in-all it is a lot of fun the for the cost.
Great little course
Interesting layout. Some short par 3's and scoreable par 5's. would definitely come back.
Not 18 hole course
Had a good time at Timber links, however was a little bit deceived when booking 18 holes. This is a 9-hole course; not 18. Had to play the same 9 holes twice.
great experience.
this was a fun experience, and a interesting layout.
The greens were in great shape. The staff was very
friendly. I would definitely play here again.
Worst Course ever played
This course really is a joke. 9 hole course. I'm not sure why golf net would even partner with this course. It's built right next door to a lovely working landfill and upscale apartments. Wow the scenic view. Keep in mind this is a 9 hole course so once you think you might get to escape the front nine you're told at the turn it's a nine hole course and you get to relive the nightmare again.
OMG! Even if you get a free certificate to play this course the gas money you'll spend to get there results in overpaying.
Stay away. One more thing, they did replace the greens with your basic 70's shag carpet.
Challenging and pretty
Some drainage issues during and day after rain
Nice Course
Very nice challengingly tight golf course. Was in very good shape. The staff were all super nice. Will play this course again soon.
Timber Links
Very nice 9 hole course. The pace of play was great! We didn't have to wait for anyone. The weather was beautiful.
Staff forced me to play with others and said spouse could not ride along
Staff was rather rude about me wanting to play by myself and letting my wife ride along. This course did not used to be this way so I was very disappointed and the staff seemed to care less.
Easy Course
Nice little 9 hole course. You can't get anything better for the price. I paid $9 for 18 holes. The greens are extremely slow but for the price I can't complain at all. I play here often.
Great 9-Hole Course
The rates are good and the staff is friendly. The golf shop is under renovation. Only thing missing is a kitchen or deli
Good Course
Great value for the course. Good for a quick round in.
This Course is overall great in every aspect!
The Golf course @ Timberlinks was absolutely one of the best courses i have been to, overall rating is a 10+
Worth to play
This golf course ihas 9 holes and it is very fun to play due to many undulations and li narrow fairways. I believe there are not many golf courses like this. It is worth to play it.
What??? NO ICE?
I like to play this course regularly because the staff and the course is extremely well maintained. However, for the last 5 months, the management has not repaired or purchased an ice machine and when the temperatures are in the 90's and 100's, cold water is required and the water on the course is hot. I should not have to bring my own ice to play golf.
Thanks Jim! Now that you work here, I'm sure you're aware that we have an ice machine! ;)
Best Greens in the Area
The course is in fantastic condition. No straight putts on these greens and tight fairways sharpens your shot making skills. Staff very friendly and will definitely be back. Could use a beverage cart coming around in the summer heat. Be ready when you get there without a driving range.
Loved it
Tight fairways, elevation changes, doglegs, superb greens... Be ready to go when you get there. It's ON !
My Question for Timberlinks is on the GolfNow website this course offers "single" and "fast play" when booking. This may have confused Russ.
Hi Russ, I'm new to golf and I've learned a lot of places frown on single play if the course is busy or somewhat busy. I was told single play can be miserable if you get behind a slow foursome. I always call in advance before booking a tee time to play solo here on the weekends. They are normally straight up with me.
Russ, I'm sorry that you were displeased with the result of your online booking. Fortunately the game of golf is a great way to build camaraderie and was designed to be a 4 player game. In the future at any course, please call ahead to confirm that you wish to play alone and have a rider. If it is a slow enough day that the course can accommodate your wishes I'm sure they will. Otherwise, please don't book a tee time unless you plan on playing at that time. Thank you
