Best par 3 in dfw
Course conditions have really improved since last year! They have worked hard on their greens and it shows! They are beautiful! Not to mention the staff is incredible! Love me some Texas9! Keep it up!
Amazing course for beginners
My husband and I have played at Texas 9 multiple times. I am a beginner. I started learning golf in September 2024 and my husband just started to play golf again after a motorcycle accident 13 years ago. The fee is super affordable if you have GolfPass there were times that two of us only pay $25 including. Highly recommend this course. The golf carts are in good condition. Staff are super friendly. The greens are in great condition overall, I will come back over and over again.
Josh and the Texas9 staff.
Josh is the man. Always in a good mood and has a smile on his face. The staff is always friendly.
Best bang for your buck
Took the ole miss out to okay her first 9 of golf and it was a great course to introduce her to. Most par 3’s and very fun to play. Besides outside staff having an ego trip of pace of play (most people are out there for fun, new to the game, or there to shoot a quick 9 for fun) sneakily throwing attitude underneath new players it was a fun experience
Great Value and Friendly Service at Texas 9
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff member, which set a great tone for the round. The clubhouse was clean and well kept, always a good sign before hitting the course. I had booked through GolfNow, and the staff gave me a helpful heads up that two other players had booked the same time and deal, ensuring I knew what to expect at the first tee.
The course itself has a nice layout, though at times, I found myself hoping that other golfers wouldn’t tee off too soon, as the holes play fairly close to one another. That being said, for the price, the course conditions, and the solid customer service, it was absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be back!
Diamond in the Rough- getting better all the time
I've always loved the driving range & practice greens...
The Course Greens have GREATLY over the last 6 months and overall course looks good.
TWO area's for improvement...
1) BUNKERS- have HARD compacted muddy sand. Adding real sand in all of this course's bunkers would add a great dynamic/upgrade to the course.
2) No Grill - we keep hearing about a coming "vendateria" packaged processed food?... BUT nothing beats having a real grill.
...you could cater to the Waterchase Golfers (like you do with your driving range), Enoch Employees & residents of the Villa's at Waterchase...
I know I would probably make a day of it, play 9 in the morning, have a bite to eat and possibly play another 9. Maybe create a promotional package like that?
Easy and fun course
Besides the sand being a little rocky and hard, the course quality is great and especially great for beginner golfers who want to practice on their irons.
Executive course
Great for practice and honing in irons / wedges. Nice layout and surprisingly lots of water. Would play again for under 30 bucks.
Great for kids too
Great course to polish up your irons . Play from the blacks and a great pace of play
Solid Course!
The greens looked phenomenal, one of the best 9 holes out there. Quick 9 in the morning and got home before noon! Not bad to play a round on a Sunday for $30. I will be going back for sure!
Excellent 9-hole outing
Josh and his crew do a magnificent job with customer service, impeccable attention to the grounds, and making this beginner/novice feel welcome to keep growing his game. Recommend this to anyone wanting to fit in 9 on their own or come out with a group.
Staff is amazing
Great Value and Friendly Staff!
I recently played at Texas 9 and had a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The course itself was in decent condition—especially considering the affordable price. It’s a solid spot for a casual round, and I definitely plan on coming back. Great value for the experience!
