Good round good course
While it's no Shadow Hills, Trails of Frisco is a solid course. I like the challenge of wide fairways, tight second shots , and quick greens. Nice staff, well informed, and quick to make sure you have a good round. Pace of play was busy for Black Friday, but once we got in front the slow group in front of us, we had a good pace of play. Four birdies in the day helps to make the day fun too.
Staff was excellent. Very fun challenging course. Would play there again.
Love this course!
I play ToF often, and always enjoy the course. Overall, course is in great condition, has plenty of interesting and challenging holes. I highly recommend!
considering the rain our area has received the designer and superintendent have done a great job.
front desk person was not pleasant at all.
Starter/Marshall was fabulous.
Great layout with a top notch staff .
Can't go wrong here.
Great challenging course
You pretty much have to hit the fairways on this course. Quite punishing if you are not. The course is in great condition and the greens roll true.
After all the rain, the course help up well, 4 holes were cart path only.
Course was in great shape. .
Fairways were the best in the area. Course was in excellent condition. Kudos to the superintendent. This course is a challenge to the experienced golfer. I lost three balls, and my playing partners lost 13 balls between them. The course is a good test of your game. I would recommend this course to anyone willing to play a challenging golf course. If you hit everything down the middle, you can post a good score. A very enjoyable experience.
The course was in good shape overall. The greens were quite “bumpy” on the front 9. Back side greens and fairways were much more playable. Always a challenging course but extremely fun to play.
Play this course if you are out with your buddies and want to have a very social time on the course. Play is slow and the marshals drive buy and waive seemingly unaware that the pace is at 5+ hours for the round. The divot sand in the cart bottles is not restocked which you don't realize until you are well into your round. Was able to get a fresh bottle at the turn but had to sort through 10 bottles before I found one.
Very nice public course.
Always enjoy playing this course when I am in town. Great layout, well kept, great greens.
Great pace and course
Everything was great as usual. Played morning tee time in under 4 hrs. Course Is in great shape. The only exception is some of the bunkers were extremely firm. Had to rake/drop.
Course is in great shape
I play Trails of Frisco fairly often, it's one of my favorite courses in the north Dallas area. There are some fun, interesting, and challenging holes. The course was in great shape today, greens were very nice. Definitely recommend.
Course needs work
The course is in tough shape. Fairways are hard as a rock and you need a sledgehammer to lay down a tee in the boxes. The greens are in better shape and the bunkers are inconsistent
