Fantastic day for golf at Katy
We played on a beautiful day. Back 9 greens looks like carpet! This course is a little pricey on weekends but now we know way. The only missing service was the drinks. But probably that is because COVID issue with staff or similar. I would say is a missing opportunity to youngsters to make extra money. I will keep saving for my next run :)
Best in Katy and surrounding vicinity
Greg Norman design. I’ve played the course frequently since it opened. Great track. Highly recommend.
Enjoyable Layout
I was glad to be disappointed by the negative reviews. This was a lovely course, friendly staff, above average greens and fairways. And for my daughter, the forward tees were decently placed for a balanced advantage. We really enjoyed the round and will return.
Gorgeous course with some challenging holes
Meadowbrook might be the best course in the Katy area. My only complaints are that people do not rake the sand traps or fix their divets. Not the course's fault but a marshall might help with these minor issues. Overall, the layout keeps things interesting and the course is well manicured. Great value for the money.
Overpriced
The course is overpriced and the staffwasn’t very friendly.
Great layout
Quality course and a great value especially if you can get a hot deal on it. Some of the greens are a bit rough but they are really working on it. Sand traps are excellent with little to no rocks.
Play is pretty steady but I played during the week, weekend may be a bit slower. Excellent range and practice area.
Consistent Course
Love this course . Provides challenge for all skill levels. Great finishing hole.
Nice course with some interesting hole layouts
Conditions were good. The first 3 holes were very slow but it picked up after that, the starter told us that was fairly normal.
Hot Deal
The nonmember price of $105 is steep. A hot deal for basically $60 per person was a great deal. Good variety of holes and shapes. Pace of play was amazing. Played 18 in 3 hrs, would have been even faster but my playing partner lost some balls in the woods. Greens seemed to have some issues, nothing too serious.
Best course in SW Area
Nice fairways, greens and bunkers. Love the layout.
Challenging yet rewarding
This course has a variety of holes that make the round very enjoyable and challenging. In particular, the grass that contributes to the beauty of this course also contributes to a number of lost balls that surpasses my personal average in other courses with a similar level of difficulty.
On the positive side, I will highlight the variety from hole to hole, the well-placed hazards, and the scenery.
