Even beautiful in the dead of winter
Fun to play! Lots of challenges! Great shape and surroundings!
Not worth the $$$
I've played this course few times. This is the worst it's been. There was a kids' tournament going on, so we played back 9 first. The 4some ahead of us were super slow, teeing off twice while we waited. No Marshalls around. The tee box were awful, fairways were dead and hard, and the worst of all, the greens were covered with sand. Unputtable! If I knew beforehand that it was in this condition, I'd pay $50+ to play at Blackhorse or Golf Club of Houston. Sad to see this course gone downhill. Not sure if it's new owners or management, but a course in such a nice neighbourhood in this condition is definitely not right. Any course with issues should be reported to golfnow or teeoff so people know the condition prior to bookings. Not playing here until it's fixed.
Great staff
The shop manager is friendly and kind. I left my club on the green while I was playing. They returned to me when I was finished.

Horrendous Pace of Play
Our Tee time was 10:08. We were at the first tee by 10am and we’re waiting behind 4 groups to tee off. We were a group of 3 who went off after a group of 5 and didn’t tee off until 10:25. The Pace of play was one of the worse I have seen we did not finish until 4pm. There were no Marshall’s out supporting pace or checking in. Just a lack of organization and planning. It is very tough to find a rhythm when you are waiting 10-15 minutes on every tee box. Most holes there there 4 groups on each hole… 2 groups on the box, 1 in the fairway and 1 on the green. Completely unacceptable and disappointing

Decent course
Enjoyed the course overall, but some holes weren’t in the best shape. Greens were being sprayed with green fertilizer during the round and some had some excavation going on.

WIND
It was 45deg, wind was 17mph…. It hurt some holes and HELPED some others. Drove the green from the whites on 16!!!

Always a treat
Everytime i play here i thoroughly enjoy myself! Course was on par for the current weather cycle. Grass was overall healthy. Greens ran very good as usual. Always have a excellent pace of play here. Range was having issues to drought or maybe recent repair but still able to warm up.
Playable Conditions - great value
Course has a fun and challenging layout. Conditions aren’t all the way there yet, but easily playable with a couple of very nice conditioned holes and greens. Well worth the price and would definitely come back
Good times on the 4th of July
The course is in good shape right now. I like when fairways firm up and the course runs out. Tee boxes were trim and greens were decent.
